Ego One battery questions

Hey guys. Okay, figured I would post in the batteries section since this is mostly about the battery options I have.

I am looking into the Kanger subtank Mini and Nano. Also, I am looking for a tight-ish draw, and a cooler hit, not warm or hot like a lot of people do.

Okay, battery:

I am torn between going with the istick 30, as I can lower the watts down to about 20 which I seem to prefer for a cooler vape.

Or, the Ego One 1100mah battery that just hit the market, that can fire sub ohm levels.

Now, the thing is this. First off, I want a cool vape, so I am not completely sure if I will love the .5 coils or the 1.2 coils, since I haven't gotten a chance to really play with it yet, just tried in the store. I also have the option of rebuilding if I go with the mini, and I think If i understand correct, I may be able to custom build one with a nice cool vape(like my cigs that I want to quit!)

Also, the Ego One battery doesn't have variable voltage, and its unregulated, so I'm not sure how this will be.

Maybe not important to a lot of others, but for me its very important for me to love the aesthetics as well as functionality. Thats why I bring up the Ego ONE battery. I am just in love with the look of it, and kinda hate the box style batteries. So, I hope this makes sense.

I am very close to just ordering a subtank mini with the istick30, and ALSO a ego One battery with the subtank nano since they are the same diameter and just look beautiful together. But, I am pretty low on funds, and will really screw myself if I do that. Im really hoping you guys can sway me either way, as I am pretty set on the sub tanks. Just that, i will go mini if the istick is best, or I will go Nano for the ONE if that can work.

Im pretty new, so not entirely sure about how often I will need to recharge the One battery. But, this is turning out to be a very hard decision, especially since I want the huge clouds(sub ohm), but really can't stand hot vapes in my throat, probably because I am used to the cool hit I get from the cancer sticks I currently smoke.

Please guys, any advice or suggestions would really help me out right now. To sum up, the istick and mini are probably best function, but I just LOVE the look of the ego ONE and Nano tank, if I can make it work for most of my day at least. I gotta get off the cigs....

Thanks so much for any advice or suggestions in advance. I appreciate any help I can get at this point, can't really find too much info searching online.

IMHO if you don't like a warm vape then the Kanger Subtanks are probably not for you. I have the Nano paired with the eGo One battery and normally use the 1.2 ohm coil. I consider the 1.2 ohm coil a warm vape and the .5 ohm coil a very warm vape. I will say that I don't find the 1.2 coil to be as warm on the eGo One battery as it does on my IPV Mini 2. The eGo One battery is 4.2v so the 1.2 ohm is firing at around 15w. I personally love the combo and it's my on-the-go setup.

I have a subtank mini and iStick 30 and they pair up nicely. I'm using a 1.2Ω coil to keep the vape cooler, and only fire it at lower wattage, about 8-9 watts is enough for me. The iStick will go down to 5 watts (that's the heat) with a 1.2Ω and still produce vapor, just not clouds, that's why I like it a bit higher. You could run it at 20 watts but that is going to be a very warm vape, not what you're looking for.

Being able to adjust the wattage helps a lot in controling how warm or cool your vape will be, you're not stuck at just a single voltage, adjusting resistance to control the wattage.
