I having trouble with my ego one mega tank that is on my Evic vtc mini. Recently I've been using my cubis tank, but when I ordered new coils for it, Joyetech sent me the wrong ones by mistake. What they sent me were 0.2 ni coils for the ego one.
So a little annoyed I broke one open and stuck it in my ego one tank. I set it up how I usually would, but when I started firing it, it spat, felt really hot (so much that the tip almost burnt my lips!) and tasted horrible. I thought maybe, bad coil, so I broke open another one and same thing.
I usually vape at 75w around 490-510f, but I turned it down to 50w 450f and made no difference.
I'm using a high vg liquid so i'm wondering if wicking is the problem so I tried to fluff up the small juice holes with a pin on the coil, but made no difference. But when I've had a problem with wicking before it usually just results in dry hits - not gurgling, spitting and generally going nuts, frankly.
Just a little more info to help.
When I fire it at 50w 450f it shows
jumps around 35-50w
10.5A
coils reading at 0.21
