For the kanthal CLR coils, I'm pretty sure the air hole in the 0.5 is larger than the one in the 1.0.

Are the air holes in the TC CLR coils larger than the kanthal 0.5?

Yup. 1.8 mm vs 3.5 mm.

The TC coils come with the huge 3.5 mm holes, the same as the .5Ω clr coils. Never had a simple cl coil though.

I ordered the eGo Mega V2 today with a box of the CLR coils to take for a test run. I got my eye on the solid black PICO at FT to pair it with. Especially since FT is having a 10% off sale for their Sunday specials. I never could get the hang of putting that little GS air coil back together after I had it all apart. I guess I need to make a trip to Sally's and check out that rayon everyone raves about.

So what's the difference between an Ego One mega and eGo One mega v2, other than the glass tank? I can't find any information about them...

I've not seen them for sale anywhere but Sweet Vapes so far; well except as part of the kit. Looks like the cage for the tank is different but I never owned the first generation tank. I'm hoping there is some type of air control.

So what's the difference between an Ego One mega and eGo One mega v2, other than the glass tank? I can't find any information about them...

Not sure I'm correct on this but I think it may be identical to the Tron-S except for more glass on the V2. The Tron has a hidden air control (V2 also). I used one all weekend and it is just like vaping the EO originals. At first I noticed a very slight tighter draw (wide open), but can't even notice anymore. It may have been the new wick I had in, that needed broken in.
