Off topic for this thread but I'll throw it out here anyway..

I'm having pretty good success with ECR heads in the Melo3. I threw a stock ECR coil in the tank 3 weeks ago and just pulled the old wick, dry burned the original coil, rinsed and rewicked it. Hitting like a champ!!

That is good to hear. I also bought an ECR head for my Melo 3 tank. I haven't tried it yet though.

sweet ! those are a very nice coil system, it is all I use in Melo 2 & Melo 3
until I got the Sega RDA, now I share time with both...

I didn't even take the head apart. I pulled the old wick out through the holes, dry burned it(it was GUNKY Lol), rinsed it, then rethread the rayon back through the holes. The whole process took 5 minutes.

I just tore mine apart and wired/wicked first thing (even have the stock wire/cotton sitting on my vape desk) (trophy)

there is A LOT of other coils - ceramic, vertical, aspire has several - I WAS gonna try them all but ,meh, no need
these two get it done for me

the Sega coil reminds me of the subtank mini RBA my second favorite tank...

on a side note: watch out for plastic bags, drain cleaner, hand guns...

some places REQUIRE the use of a helmet, but also Ban the wearing of a helmet while driving an automobile (restricts driver ability)

I bought some of these ECR heads, too. I haven't tried them - or the Melo 3 - out yet. But, glad to hear they are so easy.

and another line of acronym divisions that just cost...



but I think reference is ALL BOTTLES of NIC , including your eJuice (eg: 12mg 70% VG)

I did dry burn my coil last night and I think it went well. The coil is now reading 1.05, but I can't remember if that's what it was reading before I dry burned or not. I rewicked the coil with my lifetime supply of Sally's rayon and am happily vaping on it.

Well, I ruined my first coil by pulling it out and making a mess of it about 2 weeks ago! Lesson learned!

But, have been on my second coil for awhile now, and I re-wicked as you did, but my reading came to 1.04.....so it seems to be some degree of consistency, eh?!

Here is a pict of the Ego one base with a clr modded to fit a GS-Air MS...

Notice the black o-ring that is how I fixed my leaky One base.. Works really well now..
I switched to the GS-Air M because I used it so much I had to refill during the day, now it lasts all day...

So I can confirm that the GS-Air M and MS work very well with the EGO One base and a slightly modded CLR..

I plan to try a unmodified CLR with my new EGO-One tank when I get them. No rush everything is good..

Finally got around to changing the cotton in the first CLR 1.0 Ohm coil that I've been running in the Tron tank that came with my Evic VTC Mini kit . Put in Japanese OC and I gotta say, "Not too shabby!" The flavor is quite good. I'm impressed.
