Don't know about that. 2nd rebuild on a CLR should be exciting....LOL. I still have my first to do.
I still have my first to do, as well, Fran. I have re-WICKED, but not done a coil, yet. I'm going to rock these current coils as long as I can!
When I went to change the wick on one yesterday, it was truly STUCK. I wiggled and jiggled until I was sweating -- and scared to death I was going to mess up the wire. I got lucky, though. I got some pro-tips from the fellas and will try soaking it in hot water for a bit, and twisting it next time.

Heh. If it was a cotton wick and I couldn't pull it out even when wet, I'd probably just put it on a mod and carefully burn it out at relatively low watts.

Dunno about rayon though. Is it ok to burn rayon?

I tried the smallest head screw driver i could find in house and gently pushed into one side of wick and was able to twist it out of other side with small tweezers on the first rebuild.Bought another 20 pks clr's for safe keeping @ 7.47 each, more cotton then some more mega tanks from another vendor.
Dont ask who bought out all the silver ones. ; )
