eGo Positive Battery Post Issue

The positive battery post on one of my eGo batteries tends to "sink" causing some of my attys to not work while others work fine. I used a small eyeglass screwdriver to carefully work around the center post prying it back up. That appears to have fixed it... Not sure for how long though.

Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening again? The battery is only 2 months old and I rotate four of them so the usage I believe is minimal. Should I notify the vendor? (The vendor I use guarantees batteries for 6 months)

At this point there should be a sticky for Ego/Tornado batteries. My 5th & 6th ego batts died withing days of arriving. Thankfully they are under warranty and have been returned for replacement.

they are a tricky bunch. I just bought a new ego battery and it would get very hot when charged so I got a replacement.
one that I've used for 9 months now is starting to not work so well (atty doesn't glow very much compared to a new one)
