I just got my eGo-T 650mAh pass through battery from myvaporstore 2 days ago. Tonight I put it on the charger 3 hours ago, the light was red showing it was charging. I just came back and the light was off. However, the battery is completely non-responsive. No matter what pressing the button, nothing lights up, no response at all.

Has anyone seen this before, is there a way to fix it, or is it just defective?

Yeah, my old Ego 1100 mah had a same false. I can not turn it on anymore, maybe the switch is wrong. I used a single wire to make a short circuit and the LED flashed 3 times so the protect board was OK; plugged it in a charger and the LED still flashed 10 times after that the charger showed green so my battery was fully charged and still good.
If you can order another protect board, just do it and change the new one in your battery so you can resurrect it. If not, just throw it away, no hope, just order a new one.

MVS states that Joyetech batteries have a 30 day warranty,

30-Day Warranty on the following items:
All 18650, 18350 and 14500 batteries
All Joye Ego Series and Joye 510 batteries
Joye eVic
Anyvape CVI
MVari and Mini Mvari body unit
Smoktech ZMAX
The BOLT body Unit
All chargers
Vision Spinner Batteries

So I would imagine you won't have any problem, you will pay for the return postage though. Good luck and let us know what happens.
I have bought from MVS before, however I never needed to return anything, a truly great vendor will honor their stated warranties.

Strange thing. I got it working. As previously mentioned this is a pass through battery designed to be charged by plugging a usb cable in the end. Well I just decided to plug it in, screwed into a standard 510 charger. As soon and I plugged it in the light flashed and it started working again. What in the world could have caused this? Please note I did not leave it plugged in using the 510 threading for more than 3 seconds so it was not a depleted battery that was preventing it from working.

Scott... I've had this happen a few times - actually quite a few times on regular eGo's (non PT) and it was always on a vision stardust or CEx type clearo. Looks like it's dead. Click 5 times and sometimes that turned it on, but if not putting it on a regular eGo charger brought it back to life. Sometimes it was a newly charged batt and putting it on the charger 'turned it back on' and the light went green - all was well and it retained it's full charge. However... the eGo-c's have a bit better protection than the new t's but the t's have better protection than earlier t's or the earlier eGos (without letters ;- ) And one of those batts where that happened - had to put it on the charger to revive it (not just to recharge it) ... later died ... on a vision stardust - so I'm thinking the first time it may have blown or weakened one protection and then the second time it blew it completely. Haven't used stardusts since - all T3 now and haven't had anything like that happen.

All that said.... with PT's it's usually the cord or connection that goes than the battery. You can - with Joye products - I know some vendors of other than joyes - will say NOT to put the battery on an eGo charger, but you can do that with true Joye batts/PTs - I've done it for quite a while now without a problem waiting for the new usb cord to come :)
