Ego-t and Mega dual coil cartos

I recently bought a couple 1300 mah batteries for my Ego-T and they work with the original tank type cone atomizer but the Dual coil gets NOTHING. The seller says that he tried multiple things to make sure the connection is being made so he thinks it could be a a specific resistance issue. Anybody have any ideas. One of the 2 1100mah batteries that came with the kit is already dead ( i mean dead, no lights, no charging, nothing) so i thought the 2 new batteries would help me get through at least a little while. Now they don't work with the Mega dual coils, this is extremely frustrating.

From what I've read, you have to use a paper clip and pull out the center post in order for it to make contact with the battery. Which is why your EMDCC is not working for you at this time. It's covered in detail in that thread with step by step instructions.

I've got the newer versions which seem not to have that problem and so, I can't speak from personal experience. But, there are a lot of EMDCC enthusiasts that are on there that will answer your question in depth. Hope that helps.
