Ego T and the Riva SE?

What are people's experiences with using the Ego tank system on a Riva SE? Are they compatible?

I am using an Ego-T on a Riva battery and it is working just fine. Sorry, not sure what the "SE" stands for tho....

SE is the special edition. I read on the forums that it is little different than the standard Riva.

Nice combination and I personally prefer the extra voltage that the SE style Riva batteries put out.

I was just looking on the website and the compatibility chart for the Ego T system and Riva 510 says "TBC". What does "TBC" stand for??

No idea what TBC stands for... However, I am using a Riva "SE" daily with an eGo-T atomizer and the combo works well. Sometimes it is a little harsh, due to the atty I have not being able to keep up with my vaping syle. When that happens, a cover of the intake holes and a couple puffs on the thing without firing the batt and all is good. Defintely can tell the difference between the Riva batts and the eGos.

Abe any chance you could change that to a more familiar term. TBD = To Be Determined. Seen this acronym used all over.

Huh? TBC is very common, TBD is something I haven't seen.

OK, may as well get my "vote" in here... I didn't know what it meant either (TBC - but assumed it was "to be c..." something... equivalent to what I've seen most - TBA (or TBD).

If they dont fire, clean the threads with alcohol, and wiggle the center post in the battery to raise it a bit.

but like i said... should work fine.

the litle flat circle. use a paper clip, or safety pin, or what have you. wiggle it a little. from all sides, and raise it up a hair.
I know thats not an SE in the pic. it doesnt matter. they all have that part.

Would that help my issue with 510 cartos not firing up on my new Riva? They tested ok on the 510 batt. I wonder if my other new *dead* Riva batt (button lights up but atty nor carto will fire up) would work if I did this as well?

OMG I love you ImYourSalt! I pulled that post up in the Riva battery and now it works with the attys again! Still wont work with the cartos though...oh well..just glad to have it working at all. It's less than 2 weeks old.
