Okay, apparently along with the semi-transparent white and blue eGo t Carts (tanks), they are releasing a non-transparent black version that costs more, like $10.50 for 10 instead of $9.50 for 10. The answer I got back from the other vendor is:

"The black Joye eGo-T tank cartridge has more complicated structure and higher cost than the semi-transparent Joye eGo-T tank cartridge, so the black Joye eGo-T tank cartridge is some more expensive than the semi-transparent one. These Joye eGo-T tank cartridges can only work with the Joye eGo-T atomizers."

SO from this I can conclude it's a BS answer or if true, then why is Joye releasing two versions of the same product without telling us the difference. Are they doing their beta testing live? If someone who was involved with testing these knows something, please post. Best regards always, Scott

I have the both...they work the same, but you can tell that the black tipped ones were made with 2 pieces and the blue is just one solid piece.

We are sorry to hear that.
Those 3 colors have the completely works, which is nothing much with color. We supply different colors just in order to meet different requirements of customers.
Semi-transparent Joye eGo-T tank cartridges is made up of one piece, on the contrary, black eGo-T cartridges are made up of 2 pieces- eGo tank cartridges and tank.
So the mold used to produce black eGo Tank cartridge costs too much than that of Semi-transparent one, at the same time, there is an extra production procedure when the black one is produced. So toally black one is more expensive than Semi-transparent one. This is the explaination from factory.

Been wracking my brain on that one Matt. I have to see them first, whether they are removable/replaceable? I.E. What is the reasoning? Seems like releasing a prototype and then the final version also. Weird. Or maybe they were rushing to get these to market and they only had the two-piece equipment ready at first and wanted to get them to market and then were able to get the one piece factory equipment ready faster than they thought. And if it's just for color reasons, like I said, why not just release a one piece solid black one?

Personally, I would think so... although I haven't seen the construction of the two-piece. IMHO, having the mouthpiece of the tank opaque defeats half the purpose if the cartridge. You can't tell how much liquid is in the cart without taking it off the atty.

I'll stick with the transparent ones.

nah haven't heard of 'em. Anybody want 100 CE2 R4 2.6-2.8ohms for cost? LMAO....If I can get rid of those maybe I can think about smart carts.
