I'm a noob and a goob. Please help. I just got an EGo-T. Used a pre-filled tank from a China website. It worked fine for about 10 puffs, then the atty got hot and poof, no more vapor. I tried a new atty and it works fine. Am I doing something wrong? The pre-filled tank has filler in it. I thought the tanks didn't have filler. But the package for the tanks says, Type A for the EGo-T. Please send me your thoughts on this. Thanks.

Here's a pic of a couple eGo gadgets. From left:
eGo atty Type A with cartridge (and filler inside cartridge), atty has a steel bridge inside (looks like a bit of steel wool);
eGo atty Type B with cartridge (and filler inside cartridge), atty has a steel bridge inside (looks like a bit of steel wool) and
eGo-T atty Type A with tank, tank part is usually clear and has either a rubber or plastic cap on the BOTTOM thru which the needle in the atty punctures a hole (no "steel wool" inside the tank atty!).

Which one did you purchase?

I got the EGo Type A cartridges I believe and should have gotten the EGo-T tanks. Found a tank in my stuff, filled it, and it now works beautifully. I have an EGo-T (Type A I think, are there types for the EGo-T?). I ordered the Type A cartridges as extras thinking that's what it took and tried one of them first before the tank that came with the e cig. I'm such a .....! Every e cig is sooooo different! It gets confusing. I love the vaping experience though and plan to quit smoking. Thanks so much for the clarifications and help guys/gals!

Vape on lisa!!! Sounds like you were well prepared (that's one of the reasons for why I still got them "gadgets" around <grins>).
As to, if there are different type atty/tank combinations: Just as SirVette mentioned, there are 2 sizes. Type A holds just over 1ml, type B about 2ml. They come in several different colors to compliment your battery.

Do yourself a favor - get some Boge 510 2 ohm cartomizers and learn to fill them to capacity (1ml), clean up, settle (on different sides and ends so every it of stuffing gets damp). When vaping keep them damp or you will singe them. Many use a small 510 drip tip as a mouthpiece instead of the endcap - easy to pull to check stuffing or add juice.

Then even if you ever destroy all of your atomizers you will always have the Boge cartos as a backup. And most people use cartos for their everyday thinner juices.
