I am looking for someone that can successfully replace the wick in an eGo t type a atty. I have tried and failed miserably. I tried with about three of them and they tasted like crap. If someone can do this we can work out some kind of a deal I have 9 attys that still work but need new wicks I hate to throw them away when they still work. Thanks in advance.

If you find someone to do this, I would like to ask them to as well. I now have four atomizers with no wicks. I am not coordinated, and I am mechanically declined. It would take me way too much time to figure it out and probably wasted materials. Tonight I lost the metal mesh while trying to fix a wick that came apart on me. Ugg.

Has anyone succeeded in replacing the stock wick with ss wire mesh? I have been doing it but not with reliable results. Seems that if this was worked out it would make for longer lasting repairs.

Have you tried making them like the Bulli tank wicks are made? A piece of wick, doubled over inside the SS mesh. You leave 2mm of wick sticking out to make contact with the atty coil. The wicking in the Bulli tank is miles ahead of the eGo-T. They use the same spike plate so I figure it should work pretty good.

I've done it, don't know how reliable it is. Seems to be working fine right now. I used a SS wick rolled the same as I use in my SGv3. I made it long enough to touch the coil and go into the tank like the G-Tank does. Also oxidized the entire wick. I didn't expect it to work but it did and is still working great. The atty is an old type A that I had cleaned for my wife several times and then discarded. It lives again!
