I think I've weened the list to these three. I know they aren't 5 volts (would love one but for simplicity I didn't find a 5V tank system along these lines) but I'm really liking the reviews and looks of the tank systems.
I've always been a die-hard cartomizer (KR8) user so I know nothing about atomizers. I have heard tons of mixed reviews about lifespan, cleaning, proper usage, etc. These new tank systems and cone atomizers are making me jump ship (although I'll keep my trusty cartos and KR8) but I'd like info and opinions on these.

I think these new Ego/ Ovall whatever tanks stink, they hyped it all up really good and marketed them like they where really special but there not, taste like plastic on every vape, these need major improvements before I would buy anymore, if I ever did but dont think I will, sticking to dripping, its still the best vape,,,,

Tank is good (mutes my flavors a bit), but convenient and less messy.

I don't like cartomizers (wicking issues and inconsistencies).

From my experience, the best results (flavor and vapor):
1- dripping, bottom feeder, top feeder, map tank from COV
2- mega cartos, tank system
3- regular cartos, clearomizers

It's a good system, try it and see if you like it.

If you are going to buy a kit, get the Inferno-T kit (comes with a 650mah usb passthrough and a 1000mah battery).

Use code: epuffdirect for 10% off.

And their tank blanks and atty's are cheap.

I SOOO dig my Ego-T.

I'm finally vaping problem free.

What I am noticing, now that I've removed a host of variables, is that some of my juices SUCK were the problem, rather than equipment failure.

I happened to order the Ovale, because on the day that my Dr. told me that I had to quit smoking that day, the provari was on 3wk backorder, and everyone else was out of the Ego-T. I was putting together an order from one vendor for their last ego-T, and watched the stock level drop to zero *ack!*, but found Ovale was flush with stock. So, Ovale chose me.

The one interesting thing about Ovale is their juice. (and their rockin' necklace/leash - but those are cheap). On the side it lists all of the components, including the chems that are used for flavorings. 6 ingredients. No mystery flavors.
It's not a particularly great flavor (I'm actually in this forum about to ask for more flavor rec's for the (whatever)-T) , but the scientist in me appreciates knowing... ya know? Anyway, this stuff is crystal clear, and vapes clean as glass. No funky carmel colorings deposited on the atty, no weirdness.
Which brings me back around to the "some of my old juices were the problem".
I was thinking that I had some bad atty's way back when. Tried EVERYTHING. Was even dripping, back before drip-tips were avail, so I was just stove-piping the stuff... and it STILL tasted like burning plastic.

Now I know. Wasnt the atty(s). Was a few of my juices...

Anyway, hope you find satisfaction in your (whatever)-T.
I live, and sleep, with this thing around my neck. I've only had mine 5 days, so problems may arise, but so far- No modding, no monkeying, no testing out filler material. I vape. When the tank is empty, I fill it back up. When the battery dies, I swap it for the one on the charger- and they don't die often. I've actually been going since 6am (it's 1:30am now) on this 650mah batt, and it's still puffing along. I'm about to swap it just to charge for the night.

Also ordered the Inferno T atomizer and tanks - Since I am having the expense of a new roof installed, I didn't spring for a full kit - hoping I can use it on my eGo and Riva -

Yes, you can. I never bought a kit either, just a couple of eGo-t atomizers and a box of empty tanks. They work great on my eGos and Rivas, including my new true 3.7v SE Riva from Liberty Flights. I am very pleased with the performance of the eGo-t system. No leaking, no modding, no filler--works great out of the box.
