Hi There,

I have been vaping since last 7 months.. My First Ego T kit type A (cone type)was from Liberty flights which worked ok till it stopped working in 3 months time. Switched to B (Cylinder type) Ego-t as Cartriges were bigger. That too worked ok although i had periods of Burnt Taste. Recently Bought Type C Cylindrical Atomizers (low resistance) and cartriges 2 each for my uncle and myself. All of them give Burnt Taste and Dry hit. bought another set for uncle and 1 out of total 5 is working fine but all three of mine give horrible burnt taste no matter what i do

To be clear, C type Ego t is still a tank system, it just has different size of cartriges which i think is 1.8ml. Only one atomizer which worked ok (My Uncle's) vapes great and best i have ever experienced but all other just S***

Is there something basic which i am not doing? i have tried cleaning, washing, deep puffs etc but nothing works

So annoyed that I am considering switching back to smoking although i hate smoking now

Thanks for Help in advance

Hi Shaks :)

I've heard so many folks have problems with all the various atomiser type tank systems. IMHO, you would do much better buying some Boge 510 cartomisers - they are so cheap, don' leak & easy to fill. You will be able to use them on any of your ego type batteries.

Here is a link to some (use discount code ECF10 for 10% off) & check out the video for filling them -

Shaks, I second the suggestion to try Boge cartomizers. On the eGo class batteries, I'd recommend LR 2.0 ohm Boges. they come 5 in a box for around $8 and will give the best vape you can get on a 3.4v or 3.7v battery. Fill them the first time per the video and then just pop the mouthpiece off and add a few drops when the filler turns white again.

The tanks are finicky and require maintenance. The wick has to be at the right height and you have to wash and dry the tank to clean the atomizer coil periodically. With the Boge, you use them for several days, up to a week, and then toss them in the trash and fill a new one. You can fill several at a time, keep them capped, and do a quick change. You'll find that they don't leak when properly filled and you will soon be sold on cartos.

The Boge cartomisers take about 1ml of juice. They work out at only just over £1 each from UK sellers & if you buy in bulk direct from China, you can get them for as little as 50p each.

Using a cartomiser tank will make them last longer, plus of course, the tank will hold lots more juice. You can get the tanks in different sizes to hold different cartomisers. You will need to either punch a hole in the cartomisers yourself or buy the pre-dotted ones.

I would say cartomisers are the way backwards. Clearmisers are the way forward for many. Simple to fill,no burnt taste & you can see the level of juice left in them. If you mix your own juice its much cheaper. It costs me pennies to fill a clearmiser.
