I posted a thread a while back about he ego-T and not liking it all that much:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ready-there-issues-anyone-else-have-them.html

I have since found an LR version of this atomizer. I have given it a full week to see if it is beter than the regular and I am assuming version 1 eGo-T atomizer...

This atomizer is WAY better. The vapor is a little warmer but not so much. The flavor is better, great clouds of vapor and good thraot hit. It also has not needed twice-daily cleaning, which was my main gripe (and should be anyone's really). I run 100% VG through it and have cleaned it once with vodka after the taste started getting bad, which was after 4 days. I also have learned not to leve them upright for too long, as the wicking is still there and therefore can flood if left upright for a few hours. And as it is low resistance, dry burns should either be avoided all together or done in short bursts...

This thing has replaced cartomizers for me, and is very close to dripping on a 306.

If you gave up on the regular eGo-T and want to spend $11 or so on using the rest of your tanks, you should give this a try.

I never had a problem with the regular T-atomizer but must admit since getting the l/r one I haven't gone near the others. you're bang on with your review, slightly warmer vapour and better flavour. I think I need to clean mine as I missed my weekly clean of stuff for some reason. but it still works like a champ :)

Just got my LR tank about 3 days ago and so far so good. My original tank attys that I got w/ my kit were horrible. I got a Volcano tank atty and it worked great lasted about 3-4 weeks before it started to die (even though I was cleaning it). So i ordered another one and a LR. Im surprised at how well the LR is performing. Good throat hit and good flavor. Im going to try and maintain it as best i can and see how long it lasts.

The only leaking I've had with regular or lr is when I have them upright against the body - in a pocket. If I carry them in a backpack or have them horizontal at home - no leaks. The LR is more 'self-cleaning' than the regular attys - more heat - less gunk - which has been the case for me with all types of attys. I used to 'clean' my 510 attys I had on 3.1-3.2volt batts on my true 3.7v Bartleby or 5 volt mod - being careful on the last. And I find that the 1.7Ω ego-T LR retains taste better than the 1.5Ω mega eGo (non-t) attys. My best vape right now is the lr tanks with the SE Riva batts. I haven't burnt any out and I had 'beta' versions of the first ones sent out.

Still going strong to answer those who asked.

No leaking at all, be it from tank or atty.

I have to say I have cleaned it twice now, so I am figuring every 3 days or so a quick vodka bath, blowout and let it sit for an hour is in order... keep in mind I use 100% VG .. if you thin out with PG you might have longer breaks between cleaning...

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Ordered 2 LRs from Vicki yesterday. Man! She had the shipping label done quicker than I can refresh my email. Always amazing service from CigNot.

My standard atties don't leak either but got info that the LRs are what should have come stock with the Ego-Ts in terms of performance. Hopefully my luck with these stay the same as I love them so far.

Have to read up on the vodka soak. I use 70pg/30vg on the T so planning on cleaning this weekend. Not brave enough to try 100vg yet but will give it a whirl on the LR.

My "100% VG" is 15-20% of that blended with distilled/deonized water + nic base + flavoring.

I have to agree, the LR attys have made a huge difference in flavor. Only 1 week into them, but so far, no leaks, no wicking problems. I also find the vapor production so good, I only need a 3 or 4 second pull on them. If they hold up (and seem to have so far) I'm satisfied my tank is working like it should...finally. I got the tank to eliminate the fuss and bother, not add to it, and so far the LR attys with the tank have been maintenance free.

I use mostly PG, but do have one VG base flavor that I love and have used that quite a bit too. No clogging or vapor decline that I can see.

DO NOT DRY BURN, or a long burn n' puff. they will pop. be warned :)

(they are still the best for tanks, but man, popped 2 in two weeks, after a good three weeks of fine vaping, chasing that perfect pull dragon.)
Same here, got 2 from TW and popped them both, second one popped with a dry burn of less than 4 seconds.
Got disgusted and moved on to KR808 2ml Jumbo cartos running on a ego 900mah (w/ adaptor) which has been the best "fiddle free" vaping to date.

quick update: the LR eGo-T is still vaping after 12 days, very well. I have still had no leaking, however I have had to adjust the wick a bit. Pushed down on it a tiny bit with a paperclip.

Another thing I have noted: LR goes thru liquid pretty quick. Not enough to disuade me, but still I have noticed it.

I still think its the all around best fill and forget system! :2cool:
