Ok, so my eGo-T gift from DH arrived earlier this week and truthfully I didn't get along with it, really didn't like the cool vapour and try as I might I got no th at all. Not wanting to waste a lovely gift we looked at alternative so DH ordered an adaptor to use the cartos I have for my 808 (seemed the easiest since I already have those ready) and also some Boge 510 standard risistance cartos (2ohm if that means anything to anyone).

Well the adaptor hasn't arrived yet but the Boges have (along with a cone bit to keep the streamline look), I've filled the Boge and just waiting for the juice to settle a bit, the filler seems well packed so taking a while to absorb, is this normal for them?

Here's hoping I get my warm vapour and th that I like (even trying a new flavour too, chocolate orange he he he), I will get my warm vape using the eGo this way won't I?

Yup, everyone calls me crazy when I say the boge cartos are tightly packed so they take in juice slower but there you have it lol

I think the 2.0 ohms on the ego should give you a fair kick. Hope it works out for you when you get the boges juice'd.

I usually get something like a pin and push a little hole into the wadding to get it to wick faster. Ever heard of the condom method either? Take the end cap without the sticky uppy bit in it and fill it about half way or just a bit over and then just slam the carto in, threaded side down into the "condom" and the juice flows up through the cart.

I do it that way but I do it threaded side up for boges. Carts are meant to hold I think about 20 drops on the first fill so you're halfway there :D lol

Well truth time came and all I can say is O.M.G., nice warm vapour and got my th back, yay! Not overly struck on the chocolate orange, tastes a little chemically but will resolve that later with a few extra drops of chocolate flavouring of my own, filled a boge with my beloved vanilla and yummy, I'm all nice and gooey to the point I think I od a little with it. going to alternate between the eGo and my 808's for the weekend and see how it goes. Definately prefering the Boges to the tank set up it came with.

As this is a sealed battery I think I may look into direct dripping now for testing flavours (I can do that with the eGo can't I?)

Oh oh oh, I found rolling the boge quickly in my hands got it to soak quicker too if anyone is interested.

Great! :D I was a little worried you wouldn't like it and I'd feel bad for suggesting it. I think just about anything is better than the Tank atomisers. The coil is just too far down to carry enough heat.

Yup, just stick on the atomiser/cartomiser/heating element of your choice and drip away. Doesn't matter if you get liquid on the top of the battery as it should be sealed and it's just a matter of wiping it off now and then or if there's a lot of it so it's affecting air flow.

Hmm, you'd probably like low resistance 510 atomisers for dripping with but I never got on with them on an ego for some reason. The standard ones always worked better for me but a lot of people swear by the LR ones.

Thanks Leftfield, been using the eGo for about 45 minutes now and getting into the swing of things, now the carto has settled a little better (30 drops was the golden number for me) I've noticed a definate fuller flavour with this system as opposed to the 808's but not sure if that is the different voltage or cartos or whatnot. I have to say I'm starting to really like it now, will be good for work, DH bought it for the longer battery life specifically so going to give a test over the weekend (will still have my 808s with me though).
The thing I thought I would find strange was switching to a manual battery but that hasn't been an issue at all.
