Ego-T Passthrough question

Just got a passthrough for my Joye 510 and also got the wall adapter so I can just run off of the standard 110 vac outlet to my heart's content and not have to worry about blowing out a portion of my computer. If I order a passthrough for my Ego-T, can I just plug that in to my wall adapter as well instead of using/charging through the computer? I know it may sound silly to ask, but I really would rather look like a fool than damage any components.

Not so sure. Passthroughs are usually 5 volts and the wall charger may not be strong enuff for it. You wouldn't want to damage the charger.

Just as you would NOT charge an eGo battery with a 510 charger. Not only would it take longer but you run the risk of damage to either the charger and/or battery.

I believe that all USB ports run at 5v, the amperage may vary though usually between .5mA and 2mA.

If your passthrough has an inline battery, I don't think it matters at all, but if it doesn't have a battery built in, go with 1-1.5 mA.
