Hi Everybody,
I vaped the njoy carts available from 7-11 for about 2 months and recently switched over to an ego-t type b ordered from cignot.com. I am VERY happy with the ego-t. It is truly an all day sucker. I'm a fairly heavy vaper and have found that the 650mah battery will last almost 12 hours for me (during a 4+ hour road trip it cut down to about 6 hours). Vapor production is similar to the tobacco pipe I smoked for about 15 years. I've been mixing my own juice with 0mg nicotine for about a week now (70% VG, 15% distilled water, and 15% flavoring -lorann). My question has to do with the little rubber sleeves. I've put the little rubber sleeves over the tip but have not seen where these can be ordered. Do they come with the tanks when you order them? I've ordered a set of silicone caps for my tanks, will these serve the same purpose as the little sleeves? I've only had one major leak happen on me (i placed it tip up in my [ocket and it leaked everywhere) but as long as I am aware of how I set it down I've had no issues. Any help with the rubber sleeves would be appreciated. Thanks :p

The silicon caps will only work , until you use them once . Once there is a hole , well you know . Most of the caps , I think your speaking of , are what come on carto's . Don't know if anyone sells those , but ask some of the forum members , as most , probably throw them away , anyway . When you get 4 or 5 more posts , put up an ad in the classy's WTB slightly used condoms (that's what their called ) really . And offer to pay shipping . Shouldn't be all that hard .

Thank Renzuli, These rubber sleeves are not the carto condoms ( I have about a million of those floating around from the nJoys) These are rubber sleeves that fit over the tank part and the mouthpiece. They have a little hole on the end and seem to do an EXCELLENT job of sealing up between the tank and the atty. My kit from cignot had 3 of these included but I haven't seen them listed anywhere (even cignot)

My tanks used to leak a lot when I first got mine. I found that my tanks leaked if I would draw on them without activating the atomizer. Since then what I've been doing is activate the atomizer 1 or 2 seconds before I draw on them and I don't draw on them if I haven't activated the atomizer, now they hardly ever leak.

I have a Tornado-T from Totally Wicked e-liquid, that kit came with two sleeves as well but I've yet to see them for sell separately.

Edit -> Found them at NicFitNation.com - Canadian supplier of e-cig kits, parts, accessories, and e-liquids - eGo-T Spare Parts

And welcome to ECF.

My kit did not come with tha little rubber piece that your talking about but if you email Vicki at Cignot, she may be able to help you. Also looks like Deadit found some.

The only time mine leaks is if I do not lay it flat. If I stand it up or at an angle it tends to leak a little. But I usually only have it in a pocket when i'm outside and it's pretty darn hot here right now which does not help the leak issue either.

This place has the rubber mouthpiece for both the Type A and the Type B tanks: HealthCabin

One thing I do want to point out about rubber mouthpiece. It is normal to have some juice in between the tank and the atomizer. When the warm vapor travels thru there and hits the cooler sides of the atomizer or the tank, it will recondense. The rubber mouthpiece will actually wick juice from the joint between the tank and the atomizer, and you will start getting juice between the mouthpiece and the tank. I quit using mine because of this.

If you really like using them, one thing you could try is to trim a few mm off the end of the rubber mouthpiece so that it doesn't span the joint between the tank and the atty.

If you really must put them in your pocket, try putting the tank end in first. Unless you already have juice between the battery and the atty, it is not likely to leak out of the mouthpiece.

I recently bought the silicon caps for the type B from cignot, and have reused them a few times without leaking. I'll post back if I find there's a popular reuse limit, but for now, reusing 3 of 4 times has been fine for me. Since I bought 15 caps at about 30 cents each I've cycled them so I haven't had to stretch their life yet. I'm not the type to put my eGo-T in my pocket... its usually in my hand or on the desk or car cup holder so maybe my lifestyle limits leakage.
