I just got my Ego T set today from Health Cabin. Just like to enquire do I need to charge the battery before use ?

Yes. You need to do this so the Batt will be fully functional as to get a full recharge.

Batteries will not be fully charged when you receive them. Lith-ion batts will lose charge just by sitting and the original makers of the batts don't usually go through a complete charge to get them out on the market, I suggest you fully charge them so that they will function 100% afterwards.
