Does anyone recommend a specific brand/model of cartomizer? I'd like to make use of my eGo batts if possible.

It looks like I can give a tug at the battery contact point on the bottom of the atomizer and get goos results for a minute or two on the troubled attie. Works great for a minute then :(

I've had to smoke some analogs and the difference is obvious. I feel a little sick afterwards. The hit and warmth is nice and familiar but the rest of the experience is not as clean and great as the vape.

Nice. And any 510 carto will just screw on to an eGo batt? It will just have less width I'm assuming?

Correct, but you can buy an ego cone which is basically an empty shell/cover that slides over the 510 cartomizer and give the ego back its "look" but is not necessary, also you may want to try a 510 drip tip on the end of your cartomizer.

The new echo-e carto is what you need if you can find one. They work great on an ego and they are a cone shaped carto that holds about 2.8 ml. No leaking, burned filler or dry hits. they vape better than anything I've tried on an Ego and I've tried a lot of different Cartos and attys. You can get 100 refills on one carto. You can get them here Echo Cartomizers | Cropduster901.com He is supposed to have more in stock tomorrow.:2cool:

Just ordered a couple! They look great. I'm also getting the hang of the Tanks a little bit now. They need a little caution and care apparently. It will be great to have the cartos to try out also :)

EK, I'm interested, too. Post your results when they arrive and you've had a chance to play with them.

So I just got my order but accidentally ordered the standard Echo cartomizers rather than the Echo-e Cartomizers here: Echo-e Cartomizer | Cropduster901.com

Just an fyi in case anyone wants to try them with an eGo T battery :)

Oh yeah forgot to mention!!! Tony is sending me two of the right ones for nothing. Great customer service. Sounds like he just got a huge order in so order away!

check out nicfit's you tube on the lr ego-t.
I did the pull the 2 plastic parts in the tip on the tank on my type b and the juice in the mouth thing went away.
YouTube - ‪eGo-T Tank follow up LR low Res attys and some tips & tricks WINNING‬‏

Very nice tip... for the tip. I just pulled the two parts and my vape improved. He also advertised some rubber tips for the mouth piece which look great for throwing the tank in my pocket without getting any lint inside or leaks outside. Not sure if they're compatible with my type B yet.

Try these:

10 x Tornado Tank Cartridge Caps – CLEAR

They work great and are silicon so they hug the puncture point on the atty and prevent leaking. I find that they last a long time and can be reused a hell of a lot longer than the hard plastic caps that come with them...

I just got a pack of ten of these. My initial experience is really great. The draw on the Tank has become a little less airy and more like a real drag, and the whistling sound is completely gone. Huge vapor consistent with the standard caps that came with my Type B setup from Cignot.

I also removed the two drip guards from the tip of my tanks and this has pretty much eliminated all mouth leaks. I'm really psyched about this. Thanks for the suggestion.

So after having them for a few days I can say they do not compare well against the Type B Tanks for me. I get about half as much vapor with these carts. I've read instructions and forums for tips about filling and settling etc. I think the Type B has just spoiled me. After using a couple of tips suggested here my experience has shot through the roof with the Tank. I'm in Love with my tanks. I'll continue to test out these cartos but so far the draw, throat hit, and vapor production just can't match the experience of the tank. Keep in mind though that the Echo E is the only cartomizer that I have tried. So this review only applies to that specific make/model.

That's very interesting. I guess my search goes on for the perfect carto.

I was really surprised. Who knows. Maybe I just got a bad batch? Or maybe some of the people who had a bad experience with the tanks haven't tried the type B? Mine are kicking out tons of vapor.

I liked it when it worked. I liked it a lot as a matter of fact. If every tank worked like my first tank (except longer) I'd still be using them. I just had issues that drove me a little nuts.

I'm pretty happy with the boge cartomizers. I just wish they were bigger.
