eGo-T Type B cartridges are leaking!

The eGo-T was my first starter kit and i love it, but recently I have had some leak issues that I can't find a cause for. I'll be happily vaping away and then I will have juice all over my hands. It mainly leaks in and around the tank, but some juice does, from time to time, get into where the battery is and that is a concern. There are no holes in the cartridges and I don't know if they are getting too hot and that is the cause or what. I thought at first it was because i was re-filling the cartridges, but it has started happening with brand new cartridges as well. I would really appreciate any solution someone could offer.
Thank you.

Its notorious for leaks apparently, but if I keep it upright when not in use (battery up) I have no issues. Then again, its sideways when I put in in my hoodie pouch when I walk the kids to the bus, and as of yet have not had a single leak.

Something to try is getting the rubber caps to replace the hard plastic ones on your tanks if you use them (I just heard about this, and I have never done it yet, have never had a leak) YMMV though.

Despite my good fortune with no leaking I can't wait until my drip stuff and my mini sub and boge cartos get here though!

I have stopped laying it on it's side in case that was the problem, but it still leaks. It was perfect for the first few days and then this started happening more frequently. The second one that came in the kit has been fine, but I'm afraid it will only be a matter of time before that starts leaking.

I am not using the silicone caps. Do you mean the ones that come on the empty cartridges? Am I supposed to keep those on? If I am and that's my whole problem, I'll be embarrassed, but super happy that it was that easy of a fix. :)

PammyJo, if it was working for you and is just now starting to leak the wick may have gotten to low in the atomizer. It should be about flush with the bottom of the punching pin. If it's lower than that juice may continue to flow into the atomizer when your not drawing on it. Vicky at cignot did a nice video explaining this: eGo-t wick adjustment - YouTube

The ones that come on the tanks are hard plastic, not silicone. But yes, you are supposed to keep those on! heh. When you push the tank into the cone (hard) it will break the seal on the bottom. The silicone ones are supposed to be more leak proof than the hard plastic ones that come on the tanks. Of course, if you're using the silicon end caps you are not supposed to keep the hard end caps on.
