Thank you for your good work. I am curious. I had a type A setup which I bought earlier this hyear and returned because it tasted more like plastic than a 510 cart with its polywool. Is all that nasty plastic taste finally gone?

I haven't noticed any plastic taste at all with my B. There is the separate flavor muting issue (not a big deal IMO) but that's it as far as I know. Ah, well if you feed it 100% VG you will get a nasty, harsh burn that may taste a bit plastic-ish. As little as 10% PG usually fixes this. Of course, taste can be quite subjective, and the flavor(s) that you use might intensify unpleasant notes. Nothing but goodness can come from trying many flavors in different combinations and proportions.

Hmmm...I' m wondering if I should give the Type-B's a shot...When I initially started vaping in Sept, thats what I got, but I think they were Type-A's....I was initially pretty satisfied, until I burnt one out, and the replacement I bought was generic, I think...anyway, it didn't wick very well, or gave this weird taste all the time. I had to constantly pull the cart out and put it back in to get juice flowing...it sucked.

These are the ones I bought...these are A's, right??

If so, I'll give the B's a shot....Atty's and tanks are great for being able to swap flavors, which I tend to do a lot..and you're right. Filling a tank and heading out is much easier than carrying my kit around with me everywhere I go.

Great Review!

Well, considering its the newbie forum, probably most people in here feel that other "vets" on the site can probably answer the questions better than they can...I'm sure if most people could help, they would.

Just look at the post counts on the thread..not everyone is as comfy yet about posting, or they just don't want to.

Either way...I'm still interested in hearing back from from PigJuice about the atty's.

I have both type a and type b. I got the type b because i found myself filling the type a 4plus times a day, and the type b gets me through with 2 fills. I have had leaking problems with both. I have ordered tanks from several sites and also got silicon cap replacements for both types at diff sites and i still have leaking issues. I have changed attys out with no luck of stopping the leaks. I AM NOT SAYING THEY LEAK ALL THE TIME! Sometimes it will be working all day leak free, and then when the tank has 25% fluid left it will leak like crazy!!! Other times it will leak slow, So i just take the tank out, blow it out, and wipe up extra juice on the battery and tank a few times. It is very frustrating but i love the system, and when it works well i cant put it down!!!!!! I am tired of wasting juice but i dont want to give up my ego-t.

The video up on you tube showed a man who made a punch out of an IV needle, he punched a hole in the rubber cap replacement for the tank. The point of this is to leave a little extra rubber gripping the spike inside of the atomizers. Watch the video and pay close attention. I managed to do this about an hour ago and so far it has been a good fix!!! Try it out and if it works for you pass it on to every ego-t user, might be exactly what we were looking for. Look up ego-t leak on you tube.

Where is everyone when someone posts here that they are having problems with their Ego-T?

I'm not trying to be smart, but if people are going to recommend something, at least help others who are having a problem with them. Most of the ego-t question/problem threads go unanswered.
Part of the issue is the volume of posts. A lot of things go missed.

My take at 1 week: The tanks are finicky. Thick liquids don't flow well unless one widens the initial hole (Used by blunt needle). My main "tank" is 60/40 VG/PG, and I generally don't have an issue with. If I put a 100% PG juice in this tank, it will leak.

The other tanks are unmodified, i.e. just the initial punch. These work fine initially for the 100% PG. (I noted somewhere that PG is recommend for these, possibly on cignot ), however each insertion of the tank can modify the hole, widening it to leak the 100% PG.

While it seems superior to the poly filled carts are started with, it's not the end all maintenance free route I was hoping for, possibly solvable by sticking with 60/40.

Everyone doesn't use the same pv. That's why I'm suggesting that those that do, help others when they're having a problem. You can still be pretty new to vaping and do that if you own one.

Most go unanswered except for people that come along and tell them to buy cartomizers.

Hi Swedishfish :). I do a few posts in here, and try to help whenever I can. But I don't usually post anything unless I have first hand experience, have a reliable source, or to say hello to new members. I don't know the difference between a and b, and just starting to learn about tanks, so until I do more research on a subject I am not sure about, I won't post. If I did know about eGo-T's you would definitely hear from 'The Lurker' mwahahaha

Yup, those are type A's which only hold 1ml of juice. Also, they have a cooler vape, less flavor, and TH compared to type B's. If you feel like it was clogged then it could be because the the atty needs to be cleaned or the wick needs adjusting. Which is easy to do.

Just take a toothpick or a paper clip and slightly lower it down a little bit. Which will allow more liquid into the area where the coil is located. Be careful, since overdoing it will lead to leaking.

EDIT: Type B's hold 2ml of juice and are cylindrical shaped while type A's are tapered.

Also, do you use SR or LR? Any big diff between the two??

There is only a slight difference IMO. You will get more heat and TH from LR but, they might not last as long. Also, with the additional heat. They won't do well with fruit and dessert flavors. You will have to use tobacco flavors that actually get enhanced when it's used with LR. Other flavors have a tendency to taste burnt with LR.

Not at all. Most people that use this device are lurkers or aren't here as much. Personally, I got burnt out after a while. Also, I don't really use my EGO-T as much since I've moved onto bottom feeders. Still post here and there hoping that more people see it. So, I don't have to repeat myself so much which becomes tedious.

Yep. Type A. I haven't used generics, so I can't comment on them. I never used an A but I have read others claiming their inferiority to Bs.

I'd love to help whomever I find with a problem, but when I try to reply to posts I'm stymied; New membership restricions I suppose.
