I went to Walgreens today and bought some syringes with needles. I like filling it this way as I can reach the bottom and fill that before going to the top. Works great

I am preferring a higher PG. I was using 60% VG and it still worked fine. I do think that a higher PG will help it wick better. And right now I have about 11 cartos I'm not using so maybe I will take one of the cartos that held a flavor I am moving away from and try out some mods :)

I've been using the Go-Go now for about a week and I do like it. I haven't figured out the best liquid to use yet. The thicker liquids seem very difficult to top off a cart that's running low. After about 6 drops it's running out the bottom. This is definitely not due to the cart being full since it will have no flavor afterwards (empty or low). The thicker liquid seems to clog up the coil allowing the fluid to just run out. I am slowly experimenting with thinning it out with distilled water to see if it wicks better.

Has anyone else had issues with the batteries? Both of my batteries require a very firm press of the button to activate, and even then they sometimes don't fire. The light in the button is on but no power is being transmitted to the coil. At first I thought I had a bad battery but both of my units are doing the same thing. Never had this problem with the EGO or Riva.

Anyone else?

Boiled a couple of the carts last night to try to fix the bad wicking from the thick liquid. I hope it works. If not, the carts only last a few days (refills) and then lose most of their vapor action.

When they work THEY REALLY WORK absolutely blow the EGO-T away!

Anybody doing any mods to the carts yet? I mean other than the EGO-T mouthpiece (great idea by the way). Seems strange not having to do something to these to make em work. These are no fun at all, never get to use all the tools I had to have to make everything else work. Whats the vaping world coming too anyway?

I just got my ego today and I was having a problem with the battery activating but I hadn't read of anyone having a problem like that, then the first post I see is yours. Mine worked fine for the first two hours then started acting up, sometimes the light comes on when it clicks and other times you have to press real hard to make it come on. The other battery works fine. I had the same problem everyone had with the charger but I was expecting that. I was kind of hoping noone else had the problem and it was just a bad battery that I could send back and get a replacement. I like the cartos alot as far as vapor and taste but don't care for the sucking air sound when you puff on them. I'm a little disapointed in the battery issue though because I was expecting a good reliable battery. I hate sending stuff back, it is such a hassle. It should activate and stay activated when it clicks. By the way you can use a 801 tip for a whistle tip also.

My GoGo came today and I'm quite impressed. Appearance wise I would have preferred the chrome color over the gold but I didn't want the logo. Performance wise it's the best vape I've had in the 16 months I've been vaping! It's clean - no messy leaks, it fits nicely in my hand and the size doesn't bother me at all, it's easy to fill (I cut the ends off a q-tip and stuck it down the hole then filled it until it wouldn't soak it in any more), it has a nice balance - not too bottom heavy, the taste is fantastic so far and the soft, whistle-tip from an 801 fits perfectly. So as far as size the carto is the same size (in diameter) as an 801 atty.

The only things I would like is for the chrome color to be available without the logo and 2 cones in the kit. I think this may be my solution to the no-fuss vaping I was looking for. Many people don't mind fussing and actually like it. I did at first but I'm burned out and just want to vape something clean and consistent.

Thanks to everyone that took the leap first and commented here. I'll update you if there is any change.

BTW: I like the airy draw. For me it's perfect and I got tired of having to suck hard in order to get enough vapor. This is better at helping to prevent wrinkles. LOL

That q-tip idea is pretty great, although I did buy about 10 syringes for 3.19 + tax at Walgreens today. I will try it out!

I agree with having 2 cones - although I can vape it without the cone, it looks hideous :)
I will probably buy another kit soon. Have extra charger, batteries and another 5 cartos. Even though I have a fresh 10...

After spending the last 7 hours vaping my new GoGo I'm thrilled!! I haven't had to do anything but vape it! I filled all the cartos and placed a tiny colored rubber band near the bottom to indicate which flavor was in it and with the cone on it doesn't show. The flavor is fantastic and I love the light draw with tons of vapor.

I have 7 different mods, a dozen or so eGos (various sizes plus a couple of PTs), a couple of Rivas, 510 attys both reg and LR, Mega attys, eGo Mega attys (both types), eGo-T, SmartCarts, various regular and clear cartomizers, 306 attys, some 808, 901 and 801 stuff and probably more that I've forgotten about. So I've tried many different PVs over the last 16 months. This GoGo is EXACTLY what I've been looking for for quite some time now. Let's hope it continues to perform and be reliable for a long time to come.

FWIW: First of all, I am *not* recommending anyone do this, there's a good chance you'll ruin the carto, but it did work for me the one time I tried it.

I disassembled a carto that had a burnt taste (my bad, I over vaped it). I pulled the plug and removed 2 "pads" of wicking, and a plastic 'sleeve' that was over the coil. Washed out both pads, dried overnight. Then carefully re-wrapped them around the plastic sleeve and gingerly re-inserted down over the coil.

I refilled it part way, let the juice wick for a bit, then gave it a shot (at 3 bucks, no big deal). It worked, but I found the draw was tight. So, having gone this far, I figured it was no time to wimp out, so I carefully shoved a straighted paper clip up through the battery end. About half way up, I felt it "give" and figured I had destroyed the coil.

But much to my amazement, its working better than new! (I'm thinking, now, I may have pinched the plastic sleeve when I was wrapping the pads around it, next time I try, I'll do the paper clip part before I reinsert it)

Please please, only do this on a carto you're gonna trash anyway, but I'd be curious to know if this is workable, or if I was just "lucky"

When I burn a Go- Cart.. I'm just going to be as 'brave' as you were and try this.. :)
Thanks

Excellent tip  .... I'm going to try this the next time I 'top off' or re-fill... would save me from having to carry a syringe around.

:2cool:Well I've been vaping on my Go-Go all day and I can see why everyone likes it so well. The cartomizer is awesome so far. It is definately the best one I've used. I had the one issue with the battery being intermittent but I put a full charge on it and seems to be working better. I will give it a couple of days before I decide if I want to send it back for a replacement. The soft rubber 801 tip works great for a whistle tip and looks good too.. It has always been my favorite tip and I have lots of them. It also makes it easy to pull off and refill , just drip down the sides instead of the center. It is as easy as filling a 801 cart, no need for a syringe or pin to pull off the cap unless you want to use a syringe as some do. I am now a Goer!:vapor:

Drew said he was going to get some cones to sell individually but I don't know when.

It really is a great product, isn't it? I guess we're all beta testers for it. I sure hope it stays reliable and continues to give the same vaping pleasure 1 year from now as it did right out of the box. I hope the vendors support it with accessories. I'd like to see some way to add a drip cup of some sort to a gogo batt so I could test a new juice with two or three drops instead of filling up a 3ml gocart. Happy gogo to you, goodDog. :)

Txtumbleweed, welcome to the gogo party. :)

Sigh, Nhaler invited me to the party but it looks like my RSVP is still in transit, over 2 and a half weeks ago. This is the first time I've ordered from the US and I'm not liking it. Received gear with nic juice from China in less than 9 days. I thought Canada Post was lax, but USPS takes the cake.

Cool tx...glad you like it..

Me too! I've been looking for this set-up for a long time. I just wish I would have bought it in December when I first started looking at it. I would have saved a few hundred dollars but I'm set for hard times with all my extra egos, Rivas and mods. I might go for the Darwin someday but not in the near future. That thing is amazing but it reminds me of vaping a cellphone, that is probably what they will put in it next. lol It already has a built-in voltmeter that gives you a readout of the voltage, watts and ohms.

Welcome to all of the newcomers! I hope the GoGo continues to work well for you for a looooong time.

For those posting about intermittent battery button...I read once, a nd now can't find it, that running the battery completely dead MAY reset the MOSFET circuitry. I also had one battery that seemed funky, did the procedure and have not noticed the issue since. Of course I lost track of which battery it was but i cycle through all four and have not seen the problem since. Worth a shot I guess

WOW! Rolandpibb, I feel your pain. That really is a long time to wait on the mail. Especially when you keep checking the gogo threads and seeing how much fun were having. All I can tell you is it's definately worth the wait, so hang in there. And give us a report as soon as you get it. Everyone here stateside will be wondering "Did Roland get his gogo yet"?

... I guess we're all beta testers for it.

And this by far is the best beta test I've ever been involved in. Nothing's crashed. Nothing's burned. No smoke. Just clouds and clouds of vapor.

Windows 98 Beta Test on the other hand.

Well ... I used to have more hair ...
