This is based on things I have read.

Seems that the tank is hit or miss. Some people love them, and have great results. Others have constant problems, from burnt taste, to leaking. Getting the proper mix of PG/VG and making sure the wick is set properly seem to be the biggest keys in the results.

I recently switched from Polyfill to Blue Foam, and LOVE the results. No more burnt poly taste when the thing is half empty, and I get about 40 drops of liquid in the thing every time I refill. With Poly, I would get 40 drops in the first fill, but only 10-15 every time it tasted like a refill was needed.

From other posts, the tank only holds around 50drops. I for one will not be paying extra for an atomizer that has several reported issues, when $10 in blue foam looks to be at least a year supply (1sq inch converted 5 carts)

I have had polyfill, blue foam and tanks. Tanks I didn´t like at all, not only because of the isues, but mainly because the flavour gets lost. Right now I am using mainly dual coil cartos, they are great, and I must say that I normally dont like cartos. Also the big Ego B atomizer I like alot.
The tanks maybee in the future will get better, but for now they just dont have the flavor.
Seeing how the market is going, I believe the future will be for the cartos. Dual coils are nearly perfect now. And not for this time, but hopefully in the future carto equipment without filler will be performing better and getting mainstream.

The Type B large tank represents significant improvements and better overall performance. For my money, I'll take the Ego-T Type B large tank over anything you can put on an Ego-T. I have 5 of them - including a passthrough - and no problems of any kind. It's far superior to the older Type A and far superior (in my opinion) to any cartomizer or cartridge designed for the Ego-T. I also have the Ego-T mega atomizer and cartridge, and I found no comparison at all to the Type B Large Tank. The Type B Large Tank improvements make it a strong contender (even WINNER) against many other medium priced PV's. Taste, vapor, maintenance, and longevity make it easily compete with the GoGo and the Echo. Yes, the Ego-T Type B Large Tank is that good in my opinion. Try it, but please don't confuse it with the Mega Atty and cartridge system.

I'll order one in a couple weeks and hold you to your recommendation. I saw Grimmgreen give these a good review after he trashed the Type-A tanks.

Probably one of the confusing points of the tanks, is that most of the "love it" or "Hate it" posts don't specify if they are using the Type-A or Type-B tanks. That gets misleading that they are either hit or miss.

What ratio of PG/VG is best for the tanks to wick properly?

Joye eGo-T (eGo Tank) atomizer - Genuine Joye!
A package of 5 blank eGo-T Type B MEGA tank cartridges (Genuine Joye!)

Some confuse the tanks with a large cartridge filled with filling, and that doesn't work well at all. And yes, many think that Ego-T only has one size of TANK - TANK being the key word - no filler material. I checked your links, and you are looking at exactly what I'm talking about - Genuine Joye Ego-T Type B Atomizers and Tanks. I have 5 of the Ego-T Type B Large Tanks - including a passthrough - and I've been very happy with them. Some might disagree, but I think they are a top contender in the medium priced PVs. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I do.

I make all of my own juice, and I find that 75% PG / 25% VG works well and performs well - good vapor - good feed.

I have been using the Blue Foam in my typeA atomizer for a week now, and can only wonder "Why do they still ship with polyfil instead of this stuff"

Flavor comes through much better, no burnt filler taste when the cart is half empty, less leakage when not overfilled, and great vapor, and I am getting over 1ML per fill in a standard cart, and need no tools (syrenge or such) to refill.
