I've been using my LR gear on my new twists, and quickly discovered that it really is a waste to use LR on a twist. Stick with 2.5+ ohms and you'll be all set.

Although, I have no idea how you folks are vaping a LR boge at 4 volts. All I get at anything above 4v is a nasty burning juice taste. Now 4.2v on a SR boge = amazing.

LR and VV play just fine together, but the range you have is VERY limited. You can basically go from 3-4v (some crazy people will go up to 4.2v but I find this tastes burnt as Battle said). With SR you can go from 3-6v (if you're daring), or at least 5.5v if you're not so adventurous. :D LR is great for regulated 3.7v devices but once you move into VV you really should at least give SR a try, you have a much larger voltage range to work with to make your juice taste as good as it possibly can.

And on topic, yes, the more vapor you're getting = the more juice you're using :) VV/VW rocks!

I seem to be using alot of juice on my standard ego with the Boge LR cartomizers. ..... The taste is nice but it doesn't last.... always dripping juice every 20-30 minutes or so ......

30 minutes isn't bad at all for a tiny boge carto. If you like the flavour and vapor that a boge produces but want more vape time, get something like the Smoktech DCT v2 4ml tank and a 5 pack of boge XXL cartos. You can slot the boges with a dremel (or punch with a saddle valve) and use it in the tank so you should get the same boge performance without refilling all the time.

Or just try out the phoenix (firebird) bottom coil clearos. I got a couple packs of them, and really like them. They have good flavour, vape till the last drop, and are easy to clean.

+1 on the Phoenix/Firebird.

I have been using them straight for about a week now. TH is about an 8-9/10. They're not as hot as a bottom coil 808 (Bloog/Redds) but the flavour and vapor production are stellar.

Filling with a needle sucks, but it makes up for it with how extremely easy they are to clean and re-assemble.

As for the DCT on a twist. Not worth it.. If you can get Single coils in a tank system that's fine, but LR Dual Coils are a waste on a twist. You'll only ever get 3.7-3.8V out of it because of the dual coils. SteelJan did a bunch of testing, and the concensus is that single coil / standard resistance will give you the most accurate range on a twist.

Punch with a saddle valve? Lost me there. Just ordered an evo, so i'll try my dct tank once it arrives.

Might grab some of those phoenix bottom coils next pay cheque. Stuff gets expensive fast hehehe.

I think you need something like this and I just watched this video that shows carto punching well, however it's for a homemade syringe mod and not just to swap out the cartomizer.
