Ego twist cutoff time?

i saw a report of it being a 4 second drag cutoff, with a 5 second cutoff between drags. it was an image probably from Alibaba or another chinese mfgr.

then this morning i saw a TVR ad (email newsletter) that said it was a 10 second cutoff.

so, which is it? maybe there are different twists out there?

^ this is great news. i cancelled my decision to buy one as soon as i read the 4 second drag cutoff, which is unacceptable for me personally.

as you can see, i was very confused. i am still weary, but if i get it from TVR, at least they would probably replace the item if it was not 10 seconds, seeign how they are advertising it as such.

maybe there are different batches of twists out there....who knows?

thanks for your help. im nearly convinced that 10 seconds is the norm after all the reports im getting. its just weird how the product images contradict the product descriptions.

I don't think it would be much if any different than other ego/riva type batteries. My Riva is around 10 seconds. There's been many reviews on the Twist, if I was only 4 seconds I think we'd have heard about it many times.

One of mine has NO cutoff...

Another one has a sticky button... I have to keep crossed eyes on it and unscrew the clearo quickly. Not going through the hassle of returning one (1) item.

This usually happens with non authorized dealers. Make sure you check joyetechs website to be sure you are buying true merchandise.

The twist haven't been out long enough for there to be counterfeits, IMHO.

They come with a 10 second cut off. The 4 second number comes from Joyetech's literature to give you an idea of how many puffs you can get out of a battery if you use 4 second puffs.

Steeljan showed in her video that at the higher voltages the twist only supplies the set voltage for 4 seconds, then it drops off. I think this is because of the Buck Boost circuit.

10 second cutoff on my Twist. Mine came from MyVaporStore and has the trusty MVS logo in place of the Joyetech logo on the twist cap. It's a genuine knockoff!
