Hi guys, just went and purchased my first mod (kinda) today, and I'm loving it. Luckily, here in Vegas, I have pink spot about 15 minutes away. They don't carry many super-high end American made mods but they do carry the Lava Tank and the Ego-Twist. I opted for the twist for multiple reasons. Anyway, I am running a standard tank on it, full of andes-mint (I definitely reccommend this juice), with a ming drip tip, and I was wondering where I could purchase those things you put around the threads to make it look better. It's like a stainless steel/chrome collar that you twist on under the tank and it just gives the mod a cleaner look.

If anyone could link to this product it would be greatly appreciated. BTW, they make two sizes, a smaller thin one and a regular thicker one for standard tanks. I'm looking for the standard one to fit a larger tank.

As an aside, if anyone could reccommend some good juices from pink spot I'd really like that. Honestly, I got the sample pack (30 bucks for 6 6ml) and I don't like many of my choices. The blueberry and andes mint are good though.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Keep vaping

Thanks Jixchel, I really appreciate the help, but that's the standard size for a thin tank, I'm looking for the one that flutes outward slightly to line up with a standard (thicker tank). I'm starting to think they may not make them anymore. If that's the case, I'll just buy that one because it's better that looking at the threads.

Thanks again.

HawkeyeFLA looks like exactly what I'm looking for, thanks. I think the black type c will work perfectly for me. If you own one, could you please confirm that a standard sized tank will line up correctly with the black type c.

Thanks

I have the smaller DCT so I only have a type D.

Oy, so glad I've moved on to the Twist batteries since then. The original 650mah batteries seem so small now.

From what I have physically see of the type C, the larger tanks should fit on it well. There are lots of pictures of various eGo based setups here. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-interested-showing-off-thier-ego-setups.html

You can find the battery for about 24 bucks online at many locations. But then he will need to spend quite a bit more if you want tanks and good cartomizers with liquid. However, I think a simple twist battery and a atomizer might work well. Starting with dripping seems like a good way to quit smoking because it requires some concentration (such as taking a cig out of the pack and lighting it) as well as a reward (vaping the drips) and finally, when it's done after 7-10 puffs, it's like the cigarette is done and it forces you to stop until next craving. Instead of just vaping 24/7 like most of us do, which is a bit weird to a smoker who is used to being told when their smoke is done.

I'll try to find a link to where I saw it for 24 and post it in this thread.

I know for a fact that she will not be into dripping. I dripped for a long time when I started vaping and loved it but she won't go for it. I used both dual and single coil smoketech cartos in a Liquinator a while back and I think something like that will be more pleasing to her but in a slimmer package. Thanks for your advice and help.

Hey everyone,

I'm helping someone quit smoking and would like to know the best place to send them to for the Ego-Twist kit. Any recommendations?

Also, where do you get that slim DCT?

I appreciate your help. Thanks! :thumb:

I got my slim dct at vapor kings. They have the polypropylene version, so no worries of tank cracking. Mtbakervapor has slim dct's as well as good inexpensive juice.
