So my twist recently quit working on me just after 2 days of using it.
I was getting the 3 led on/off when screwing in any attys followed by the 20 LEDs on/off signaling low batt (even though I KNEW it wasn't low)
and the charging did nothing when screwing it in (but worked fine with my other ego)
Soooooo instead of changing it out for warranty, I decided I wanted to take it apart to see what was wrong.
I searched YouTube for taking apart ego batt
So I did, and this is what I found.
The neg lead had come off somehow!!
So, with a BRAND NEW xacto blade I stripped the insulation off the wire
And properly tinned the wire and soldered it back on the board. Take care here and make sure your soldering iron is tinned so you won't get a cold joint.
slap it all back together carefully, and WALA! Back in action and charging properly.
VV still works and all is good again!
I hopes this help those with the same problem i had!
Good luck!
