I also vote for the 1300 spinner--tank fits nicely with the skirt.
Thank you guys! I think I overall like the Twist aesthetically (I somehow think the longer, skinner battery flows into the Protank II better than a thick battery that gets thin in the middle then fat again) but if the Spinner has a low-battery alert, and had those markings on the bottom (the lines), I think I'll be purchasing a Spinner. Cheaper too!
On Discount Vapors, though, the picture of the Spinner just has numbers, no lines. Is this the sign of being a clone or older model?
While the Twists hold a special place in my heart, the general 33% mark-up all across the board joyetech's about to spring on us, the Spinners are becoming a much more viable option.
The 1300 mah Spinner is fatter than most Ego's it is also not much longer than a 650 mah ego.

Not really a big photo, but the 1300 mah Spinner is setting between an Ego 650 mah and Sigelei Mini Zmax. It has a 3.5 ml Vivi Nova on it with a large tank beauty ring. Just about the same as the Protank skirt. The ring blends right in at the button area and the bottom of the Vivi Nova. The button area on the Spinner is the same width as the 650. So it may look top heavy because of the bigger tank, but the transition from the Spinner to the tank should be fairly smooth.
The 33% price increase on Joyetech is a fact. It has already happened with the faster moving Chinese sites who move stock within days rather than the slower moving US sites who are still selling older stock. The ERoll at FastTech went from $45 to about $70 overnight, the eVic went from about $65 to $98 at the same time. HealthCabin announced they would no longer stock genuine Joye products due to the increase and now only stock generics (there is a clearance sale on some Joye stock but no batteries, more tanks and cones etc).
That's scary news that 2 of your Spinners have died! I have horrible luck with vaping - I've been trying to vape for years now and every single kit I ever buy breaks a week later, or the shipping always gets lost with no refund. Even just this month, my Blu kit breaks 6 says after purchase, 8 of the cartos burnt, one battery not even working out of the box, I order a twist from Fasttech, stuck in Hong Kong for two straight weeks and won't be in for another month afterward, i buy a protank ii and the much cheaper protank ii mini comes out a day later... its all horrible luck. so i hope the spinners usually hold up...
Great thread. I'm kind of a noob and I'm still using my fixed power STAM knock-offs. I'm going to upgrade to vv and want to keep a couple of eGo batts around for camping and running around. I'm fond of my lanyards and mobile charge gear. Does the standard eGo lanyard fit the larger spinners?
