Hey all. I am still a newbie to this site and to electronic cigarettes in general. I have done some research and came to the conclusion that I will be buying the vision spinner from madvapes this coming weekend. From my understanding it is a variable volt similar to the Ego twist. Any suggestions on what to use on it, I have yet to drip and not very interested in dripping on to an atomizer due to the fact that this will go with me to work don't wont the hassle of dripping. I have read a lot about smoketech 510's and seen the Vivi Nova on you tube that is highly recommended. I go to madvapes store which is near me and they carry both of these.
My question to you all is:
What is your go to set up (what do you use)?
What flavor do you use/ brand of liquid?
What volts do you like?
What ohms do you prefer at what volts?

PS: This is my first night to this site and already I am in love with everything. I love all the information due to the fact other than one of my co-works, my girlfriend, and myself are the only people I know personally that vape. Thanks to all of you.

Hi and welcome to ECF. I own the Twist and the Spinner and prefer the Spinner. I use the Mini Vivi Nova and from 3.3- 4 volts I use 1.8 ohms head. For 4-4.5 volts I use the 2.4 ohms head. It seems for most the "sweet spot" is 4.2-4.5 volts. I like either 4.2 or 4.5 Volts.
The Vivi Nova is a plastic or metal tank with a wick and element. Contains NO stuffing. The rebuildable Vivi Novas come with heads (coil+ wick) that can be cheaply and easily replaced. When the head burns out simply unscrew the old head out and screw in new head- takes 10 secs. My Vivi Nova heads are lasting about 4 weeks BUT I wash the heads every few days. I've found the Vivi Nova to give the best draw. Make sure you order the LONG wick- short wicks have wicking issues.

Edit: Your own preference but my 650 Twist not enuff mah, 1000 Twist okay but the 1300 mah Spinner is perfect for "me".

Realize this review is about the larger Vivi Nova 3.5 ml. The Mini is 2.0 ml and looks better on the Spinner.

My personal gear is the Twist and the Vivi Nova 3.5. It is the larger tank than what Vapoor eye er uses. I really can't get into the ol' volts and ohms thing ;) I just twist the little dial thing on the bottom until I get something I like. That is the beauty of a variable voltage device. When you finally get whatever you decide to go with in your hand, that's when you will be going "Ohhhh ok, now I know what they mean/talking about".

Now, as for juices. You will be getting TONS of information on what each person likes. My suggestion, get samples from several vendors. Get samples with different nicotine strengths. Some vendors have only one strenght in their samples, others will let you chose your dosage of nic.

I feel for you right now. We all went through the same thing. Information overload.

I am just going to tell you what I use because that is all I know. I like Heather's Heavenly Vapes. Her samples come in 12mg nic with a 70/30 ratio of PG/VG. PG is mostly where the flavor is and it thins the liquid. VG is where the vapor resides it is also very thick. More VG = more vapor. If you are going to want TH <--throat hit, PG + nic gives you that. More PG and/or nic = more TH.

HHV (Heather's Heavenly Vapes) carries tobacco type flavors and fruit type flavors and a few bakery type flavors. Once you figure out what type of flavor you like, that is when it becomes easier. I'm a fruit :D I prefer them over anything else I have tried. Unfortunately, you may go through a lot of flavors that you don't like before finding the ones that you do. Just don't give up. It is worth the search.

Welcome to the forum. Enjoy your new journey!

I agree with this post except the part that I bolded and underlined. I've got two version 2 Vivi Novas with the short wicks and haven't had any wicking problems at all. But I don't know if you can even buy the short wick ones any more, so it's probably a moot point.

If I'm moving around and active the short doesn't give me problems but if I sit and vape without tilting I get the occasional dry hit. Also know some that trim the long wick down a bit. A few vendors still have some short wick heads but I believe they're old stock maybe?

Twist and Vivi Nova is a great setup. It's what got me off cigs full time. Then I found myself vaping at 3.7v most of time So I bought a Bolt. I like it a lot, but I'm sure I'll have a Provari within 6 months. Can't have too many backups right?

Real world experience to justify the cost... I was at work and my 1st Twist ran out of power. Switched to 2nd Twist, no power, the charger had died, but showed a green light(I have a spare charger at home). 3rd option was my standard eGo 650mah, it worked and kept me from buying smokes to last out the night.

a week later... I was leaving for work and dropped and broke my Vivi Nova. I grabbed my second Vivi and was off to work. If that had died somehow I still had a carto in my bag o'vapes.
