eGo-V Won't Fire 1.8 ohm atty

I just got some new Protank heads that are 1.8 Ohm. When I use them on my eGo-V they won't fire even at 3.0v. They fire fine on my eGo twist even at 4.8v.

Does the eGo-V have a cutoff at 2ohm or so?

Have you tried to 'pull' up the batt's center post?

I could try that, but my 2.4 ohm 306 atty fires fine and the Protank fires on my eGo Twist. When I put the Protank on the eGo-VV, the button flashes like it doesn't like the new heads.

I'll give it a shot though.

Found out something interesting. If I screw the tank in all the way it won't fire. If I screw it in just far enough to make a connection, it fires. I'll have to look that over and see what the deal is. It works perfectly on the Twist.

I don't see any difference between the one that works normally and the one that doesn't. I guess I'll just not screw it down all the way and use the flange to support it.

back the protank off (unscrew) just a little bit and try it again.

Yeah, that seems to work. My last atty worked with no fuss. No biggie, I just won't tighten it all the way.
