I haven't seen much about mod battery,but they are fantastic! 650 v v pass thru. Has a digital readout. I have two of them and I just love them. they are $25 here:

The only problem is the metal cap will pop off of the bottom when you pull out the cord. The glue fails. I recommend if you get one,pry that end cap off with your fingernail or a screwdriver or butterknife,whatever. Then super glue it back on. That way you won't lose it when it falls off. I think while charging it gets warm and that's when the adhesive fails. Happened to both of mine in the first week.
No big deal even if you do lose it,it just isn't as pretty anymore.
