Hi All,

So, the VVN comes with 3 atties of differing impedance. The eGo XL twist allows you to vary the voltage from around 3.2v to 4.0v I believe.

My question or confusion I should say is what's it all about? Why would I want different impedances, why would I want vary the voltage, is there any correlation between impedance and voltage, etc. etc?

Cheers

its all about power....wattage is the number you're looking for, most people find their preferred vaping strength between 6-10 watts....using ohm's law, you can find watts as voltage squared divided by resistance, so if you're using a 1.8 ohm resistance vivi head looking for 8 watts of vaping, you'd need 3.8 volts to get there, but if you have a 2.8 vivi head, you'd need 4.73 volts to get the same wattage, however, the ego twist maxes out at 4.8 volts, so if you find that you prefer higher wattage, you might want to stick to lower resistance juice delivery systems unless you get a big VV device that can push up to 6 volts

edit: also this may help:

the variable voltage feature allows you to increase the vapor, throat hit, and may change the flavor for the better or worse. you switch the voltage based on the resistance of your vivi nova heads. lower resistance would use lower voltage or you will burn the head faster and get a burnt taste. if the resistance is higher, you can bring the voltage up. I use my twist at 4.4 volts with a 2.4 head in my vivi nova
