For years, Egyptologists and archaeologists have thought the Great Sphinx of Giza to be about 4,500 years old, dating to around 2500 B.C. However, some recent studies have suggested that the Sphinx was built as long ago as 7000 B.C.

This is a truth, it is the largest and best preserved of a few boats found buried in pits. Two smaller such boats can be seen in museums in Chicago and Pittsburgh.

There are acres of land in the desert outside Cairo where the sand has been fused into glass. This has happened in modern times when a nuclear explosion has taken place over a sandy area. Sand turns to glass between 1500 and 2500 degrees F.
