Ive had mine for a few days now. I love temp control with TI wire from sweet spot vapors. I use it on the DNA 200 with their curve loaded in. Anyway the first thing I did was clean it (had to do it twice) and put in a TI spaced coil. I noticed right away that this tank does not perform well in temp mode. I'm constantly adjusting my temperature. I leave it at home when I go to work because I can't have with me and when I get back the first few hits are so hot it chokes me out. It's burning the cotton too (at 390 degrees). I ordered some .5mm TI to try and see if that helps.

That's my only problem with this tank though. Everything else in my opinion is flawless. It's a very smooth and quiet vape when it finally gets right. The flavor is excellent. It's a little tricky to get those coils in there just right but the screws in there really tighten down. They down move and they don't clip my wire. The chimney section reminds me of a Kayfun on the inside. Probably where the great flavor happens.

I think I'm also going to try a smaller diameter coil. When I first received it I pulled the coil out and put it on my coil master and it was about a 3.5mm ID so I built that size. It wouldn't wick so I backed down to a 3mm. I think I'm going to back down to a 2.5mm. I think part of the burning may be coming from the fact that the coil is huge in there! I mean it's a really long coil and if part of my wick is wetter than the rest then my coil might be burning part of the cotton while working great on another part. I can't tell that I'm getting hot legs. I really can't figure it out. I'm going to keep playing with it. If I nail it down I will let y'all know. It may just be an issue with the atomizer itself. I'm going to try running the atomizer analyzer on escribe and see what happens.

Anyway bottom line I'm in love with temp control and I want to be in love with this tank. It's built incredibly well for the money. Better than some $100 plus tanks I have bought but if I can't get a solid temp control build in there that might be a deal breaker.

I'm not accusing you so please don't take this the wrong way but it's your build giving you issues in TC. I run mine on DNA 200 with SS & it took me a few builds to get it dialed in. I felt the same as you did about not being a good TC tank but I've got mine dialed in now & it's perfect. Try doing more wraps with less space in between your coils & if you're not doing spaced coils you need too. Do as many wraps as necessary to span the entire distance so your legs go straight down into the hole. The perfect build for me in SS is 10-12 wraps at 3mm, give that a try & trust me it's worth it. Good luck & let us know how you do.

Is that the issue? its getting moved through refilling? I do wish they had included a spare.

I contacted EHPro directly to ask if they would make spare sets available for the tanks or if we could by them direct. They told me to just buy another tank. With all these new tanks coming out with unique o-rings that's going to be a problem if you lose your spare. Full o-ring kits should always released for sale with the tank.

And to me that's the wrong answer :( I'm sure we all agree we shouldn't have to buy a new atty over a gasket that costs under $1.

That was definitely the wrong thing to say. Especially when one considers the amount of options available. I think I will drop them an email myself and remind them that they aren't the only company that makes rta's. This is day 2 on my setup and I'm pleased with the flavor and vapor production. This will probably replace my Griffin when I'm at work.

Thanks for the advice. I have been wrapping my coils this way the entire time. I read on here that tucking the cotton down into the cup and letting it wick similar to a subtank works better so I tried that. I also used a smaller ID at 2.5mm.

I had stated in my earlier post that the grub screws will not clip the wires... however I determined that was lie. I like to have never got the end of that wire out of those little holes.

Anyway TI .4mm from Sweet Spot Vapors 2.5mm coil at .42 ohms with the cotton tucked into the cup and being careful not to tighten the screws too tight worked out great.

I like a cooler vape and I'm a mouth to lunger. I had to dial the temp back to 360 but it's vaping great now and putting out MASSIVE flavor and dense vapor.

Oh great, decided to buy one of these from eciggity last night, after watching this thread for a while, now today I come in to a few posts of leaking problems :glare:

Eciggity got it out fast though, ordered late last night, and already in the USPS system :thumb:
So far so good. No leaks @ all. I have yet to put my own personal build in though.

Nailz, I have three going all the time now and no leaking issues at all unless I forget to close the JC while filling (more than once )

It's a pretty solid mod.

i'm taking my first vapes off the bachelor right now. i have a 24 ga ti coil 8.5 wraps @ 3 mm id. reading .28 ohms as it should. so far i love it. more air than my stm's, huge (imo) build area makes it easier for larger coils. seems easy to wick but i'll be able to tell better tomorrow as far as leaking goes.
