When I bought my 2 Nanos from FT, they were about the same price (Stainless $23.93, Black $23.97) after using the MAP code, but now the code doesn't seem to be working. o_O

EDIT: I just checked and my black Nano is being delivered today! :)
Awesomeness! Can we get some pics when you get it rocking?

i'm curious how that is better or easier. please explain to me.

In case you're still curious...

Image Archive type sites are specifically set up to allow "hotlinking", it's their business model (if they have one). That means you can upload your images once and link to them from multiple forums/sites elsewhere.

The issue is that it takes up bandwidth each time the image is linked to, and sites that don't allow hotlinking have been known to swap in a porn image etc. to discourage people from doing it without permission.

Thus the expansion of sites designed for the purpose.

That said... I "kitten" threads so rarely, I've never set up an account with any of them.
You've never seen me "handcheck" anything either. Didn't we all get annoyed when people did that with their food?

But they're there and they do what it says on the tin.

Bachelors are low-priced again at fasttech: $23.54. That's about $10 cheaper than the Nano version.

$23.54 Authentic EHpro Bachelor RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 4ml / 0.5ohm ROC coil / stainless steel + glass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I just ordered two more, for spare parts if nothing else. That'll give me four.
And I threw in another pair of VTC Minis (six total). I'll have all the colors now.
And some more Sony VTC4s, now that they've fixed their battery shipping issues to the US.
And a couple more spools of SS316L with the really big bag of cotton pads.

There. Now off to Bullcity to stock more flavorings.

If you plug the holes with toothpicks like I do you can push the plugs through the hole fairly easily with a piece of 26g wire to remove them. They'll end up in the bottom part where you can just rinse them out through the airflow holes under the tap.

I clean mine with very hot water, dry 'm as best as I can with paper towel, blow out the water in the base part and lets them sit on a paper towel in front of a heater for 20 minutes or so, doesn't have to take an entire night.

Are you in France perhaps? The new laws make no sense at all but luckily we'll still be able to get stuff from outside of the EU. Hopefully the rest of the world isn't stupid enough to adept those same laws.

Thanks for the tip, i'll try your method with the toothpicks.

I'm in Sweden. You think we'll still be able to order stuff from fasttech after the law has been passed? I really hope so. I think the products will just be illegal to sell within the EU but still legal to own and use. Stupid ... laws btw.

Wow. Why the hoarding of VTC minis?
I admit, i own 2 and have a third one one the way but thats because of the TPD law in the EU.

I posted about my troubles with this tank back in the first few threads. I'm not going to go into it again, but today was the first time I literally chucked vaping hardware into the garbage.... literally. I'm glad that everyone else thinks this thing is the bees knees.

end rant.

Because I've settled on the VTC Mini and the price is good. Love the upgradeable firmware too. I keep four in steady use/charging rotation (a Bellus and a Bachelor for morning flavors, and another loaded pair for evening). There will be future breakdowns and I'll now have a pair to spare. After defect checks, I expect to shelve two each of boxed Minis and Bachelors for future times when I'm out of warrantee and may not be able to get repairs.

In case you haven't heard, the FDA has just declared war on USA vaping. We have a couple years before the final vape-ocalypse, but I'm just getting more prepared before the gouging starts. There may be hope on the political front, but it seems quite a number of Americans now prefer big government to personal freedom and responsibility, so I'm not counting on it.

@Mark1963 - Sorry they don't delight you! If you're throwing any away, I'll gladly pay shipping and any extra needed for your trouble to get them to me.

I'm with you. Totally disappointed with this tank.
1- top easily opens
2- drinks juice like a drunken bachelor party
3- leaks from the bottom
I've been vaping 3 plus yrs. and never had an RTA that I couldn't get to work to my satisfaction.
Totally disappointed with Ehpro. I can't see myself every buying from them again.
If I wanted to stick toothpicks into it I could of bought hors d'oeuvres.

Feel you man. I've never gotten my full sized to stop seeping juice. The nano has been delightful. Never had a dry hit or a drop of juice on the outside of the nano. Some people have had the opposite experience. A perfect full sized Bachelor and an iffy nano. Ehpro needs to up their manufacturing game. I absolutely love the vape from both of them, but I won't get another one until the reports become more consistent.

My replacement Bachelor leaked on me once (so far). Could've been that I had it laying on it's side with the juice flow open for too long maybe, not really sure what happened. Once it's been flooded it takes a while for the bottom part of the deck to dry up so I had the little ring of juice again for aday or two but it's all good again now.

My Nano has been flawless once I got rid of the execs lubrication I put on it, absolutely love that thing. Love to build on it, love the flavor. My juice consumption went up a little bit coming from a Toptank but it wasn't that high to begin with so it doesn't bother me at all. I'm still below 3ml a day easily on average.

Still have to try the Nano's deck on the full size tank as I have a hard time trusting the full size version as it is, and I think that will fix it's quirks.

I may just get another Nano just for that purpose and gain some spare parts to boot.

I suspect that if the toothpicks are needed the tank will be problematic anyway, but who knows, it might just do the trick. Fingers crossed

Ah, I just thought your username had a French ring to it that's all.

Yeah, it's just forbidden to sell certain stuff over here but we'll still be able to import stuff from outside of the EU legally. It may vary per country though, & technically Sweden isn't a full member of the EU is it?

Wow, that's not even a full tank. I go through at least 20ml a day (nic free).

It's better than a return. I'll report back once i've tested it and made sure if it worked. A little seeping may be excess juice from previous flooding.

It's italian actually, with no silent vowels;)

Sweden is a full member since 1995, so i guess we are as screwed as any other EU country.
I hope you're right, if i'm still able to import things the TPD wont affect me so much personally (i think), and i don't have to hoard things now.

If there's already seepage it's probably best if you take it apart, clean it and let it dry fully again before assembly. Once these things are wet they'll just keep on leaking in my experience.

I usually only vape with my morning coffee and when I'm relaxing in the evening. 3ml is a heavy vaping-day for me, usually I stay around 1,5ml or so.

I'm sensitive to PG but vaping without flavor isn't enjoyable for me so I still get some PG from my flavoring & if I go above 3ml daily my mouth and throat will start to blister so I'm motivated enough to keep my usage down. I also need to keep my flavoring down at 8% max or I'll develop problems again after a few days. I'm hoping I gain some tolerance towards PG eventually because I'm kind of a sweet-tooth and this 8% doesn't really do it for me with most flavorings.

It's getting harder not to smoke again with all these limitations though, sometimes I wonder if it's really worth the hassle.

Oh ok. I assumed you guys weren't a full EU member because I still have to exchange for Krona when I'm visiting your beautiful country. I didn't know you could be a full member but still keep your own currency but never mind then.

Anyways, back on topic:

My full size Bachelor was standing in a pool of juice again when I woke up this morning. I really don't understand it. It was my best wicking job up to date and it sat with only a half full tank and juice control closed over night.

I'm done cleaning up after it though, so I threw it in the spare-parts box. I'm sticking to the Nano for now until I see another single coil RTA hit the market that I like enough to try.

I'll dig it out of my trash, clean it up and get back with you.

I'm sorry, folks.... nobody should have to go thru any BS when buying a product, especially from a well-known company like Ehpro.

I'm of the mind that things should work out of the box. This is why I mostly stopped buying RTA's when they're newly announced. I've read enough on other ones in the last year that made me glad I didn't pull the lever.

    Nano test results:
    • vertical (with and without JFC valve open) - Pass :)
    • horizontal with JFC closed - Pass :)
    • horizontal with JFC open - FAIL :(
    • refill test - pending
Ok, so I'll need to remember to close the valve before putting it in my pocket. (sigh)

With the output this thing has 2ml is barely enough to get me to/from work, rather amazing that they fit so many features into such a small package.
(I put a vape band on the top of mine to keep the fill door closed.)

Photobucket, highly recommend it.. Super easy on smart phome with the app. Just upload then copy the IMG link into the post your done.. For one theres no file size limit and also ecf limits the pics you can host on site... You can also store all your digital photos on photobucket as a backup for free.

    Back on topic...

Ordered a Nano (and a Serpent Mini) so I'll have a couple small single coil RTAs for the iStick Pico.

    :p

Eciggity was pretty fast with the full size so I should get them in a few days.
(it has to start with Air-Freight from Hawaii, that probably cuts a day or two from the transit time)

I've just been running a simple, but massive, 24G SS coil... but the stock Kanthal coil is a freakin' paperclip.

I think it was 22 or larger, and someone back at the beginning said the leg holes could handle 20g, IIRC. Maybe a tad larger even. It's substantial... but not enormous.

I don't roll exotics so I can't say what sizes would work to stay within those parameters.

Were you able to get the MTL kit there as well perhaps?

I just contacted 3AVape but unfortunately they do not have the MTL kit in stock.

And has anyone seen a black version of the MTL kit somewhere perhaps? I'm just curious if it exists or not.

Also please let us know how it compares to the Serpent mini, I'm kinda curious about that one myself.
