I'm doing 3.0 and a large Scottish Roll. I also leave a bit of extra cotton inside the U-Cutouts. Seems better. Also, for general storage with juice in the tank, I invert the tank with AFC and JFC closed. I just had one sitting upside-right with everything closed and blew it out. Minor amount. I don't recall if I blew it out when I took it off the mod and put it on the stand.

Just before I mount it, I blow it out. I don't get much. As an experiment, I will blow it out after usage to see how much juice/saliva has got into the air chamber. That really is my concern, since that is where pressure, shaking, etc. occur.

Nonetheless, when not in use, I close everything and will invert from now on.

Just thought to pass on.

Oh great, it's just a matter of time then before my good Nano starts spitting on my mods as well, lol

I better buy something else quick, since it is the only RTA I have that works right now. Or back to the Toptank it is :(

I've heard about the Merlin but when I looked in to it it wasn't available yet. I'll check it out and see how people like it, although I rather not buy something until it has a proven track-record this time. I love vaping but I just can't stand the feeling of e-juice on my skin.

    See you around I'm sure

Check out Subtank Supply, they have both colors in stock. They are a great company to do business with. Use ECF10 for 10% off.

So I filled the new black Nano to the brim ...........and when I came back to it it had spat out it's entire content through the two air-flow holes.
Two? You mean the two on the deck you were plugging earlier? I thought it was determined plugging them made no difference? Or the two AFC slots?

The Scottish Roll makes for some very "fluffable" tails, so that could fill the U-cutouts.

But I'm enjoying the ability to fit larger ID coils than regular more restrictive decks.
That's what I was thinking. I currently have a 3mm with the Scottish Roll. I use 28g though and my current coil is 1.8. I've already made a 2mm and 2.5mm 1.3 ohm and was just curious if anyone had tried.

What are you after in this build?

I'd parallel that 28g, or twist it if you prefer.
Keep the ID large... lots of surface area, stuff it with "the Roll" and see what kind of power it can suck up. :p

I tried a 2.5 , leaked like a mother. I don't think a smaller diameter build will go well. Because you have cut the wick so close I found it difficult to fill the bottom of the U
The Scottish roll is a good fit for this atty.

This is driving me crazy!!!Can someone please tell me where does the single large white o-ring goes that comes in the spare O-ring bag for the Bachelor Nano.
Not sure, but when I first saw it after looking over the bachelor nano out of the box and taken apart my thought was, "that don't go on this". That's as far as I took it.

Two? You mean the two on the deck you were plugging earlier? I thought it was determined plugging them made no difference? Or the two AFC slots?

I meant the two airflow slots that you can open and close by turning the ring on the bottom of the tank.

Plugging the two little holes on the deck doesn't do much as far as I can tell. It can help a bit with minor leaking. But frankly, if you need that then you already have a bigger problem which the plugs won't stop anyway.

The way it looks right now after playing with 4 of these is that you either get a good one or a bad one. If you get one that leaks while all the o-rings are in place there really is no stopping it in my experience.

There might be some cases where it is a user error with bad wicking but I'm pretty sure there are a lot of bad ones out there that will leak anyhoe. EHPro needs to step up their quality control.

So my latest advice is that if you get one that leaks return it ASAP before that window of opportunity closes. Even better advice is, don't buy one, lol

I just got a reply from 3avape. They want me to document the leaking in a video for them. If I do that I don't have to send in my latest leaky black Nano but they'll send a replacement right away.

The thing is, I don't want a replacement. I'm convinced it is more likely that it will leak then that I get a good one & I don't want to end up in a vicious circle of shooting vids of leaking Nanos, wait for a replacement, and repeat.

I also just cleaned it and boxed it up & I can't be bothered to fill it again and deal with the mess that comes after it. Plus I don't have much experience shooting video, so I'm just gonna send it in instead and play the waiting game again. They'll pay for return shipping as well by the way, good stuff.
Maybe I should just ask for a black Serpent mini instead as I still need something that matches my little Nugget.

    First world problems...

all this leaking has me convinced it's a qc prob with the tank ,o rings or both. mine leaked a bit the first two builds, but once i got the wicking right it hasn't spilled a drop. and it's easy to wick! oh, and the big clear o ring goes beneath the funny blue one on the top, it kinda fits inside it.

I could be wrong but think you're the only one that managed to stop the leaking eventually, so was it just a wicking issue for you then?

The clear o-ring goes on the bottom underneath the glass by the way, just like man00ver stated above, not on top. Did you stick one on top as well?
