Eight months in and.....

So I went a little mad when I started vaping and pulled the trigger on a black Vari within 2 or 3 weeks of starting.

So.....any regrets ?

Nope. Wish I could have afforded to have bought one sooner. In fact have a Mini with Twins extension as well to go with the original.

I have gone through quite a few other devices in the time and there has only been one that has never come close to being sold. It has consistently proven to be the most robust, reliable device in my armoury.

Those wondering if the extra few dollars these devices cost are worth it ? Really they are. There was a saying that buy a Vari and it will be the last tube mod you buy....not certain about that but you will have a device that will never let you down.

My ego-c twists are in my drawer and I only plan to use them if my provari ever dies.. But I think the provari will last forever =). My 2nd week with the mini and it is sweet

Seconded. Never regretted the money I spent and never will. Last device or at least tube mod I will buy? Perhaps, may buy a second one, or perhaps a mini Vari though... someday

I've had my Provari since August. Love it as it quickly replaced the SB and BB and they are now just backups. The Provari IS hefty to carry around all day, so I began using the BB again for quick runs out to the store or whatever. Began to think how great a BB sized Provari would be (Mini?).

I couldn't justify the $200 + batteries it would cost me at this time, but ended up getting a VV Gripper, which is filling in nicely for what I wanted it for. I'm still considering a Mini next spring as a self-award for my one year vape anniversary.

I bought the chrome V1 w/ blue LED awhile back and have not had a single problem with it. I've been usin the cap and 18650 and when new those last nearly all day (PV is in my hand all day). So, the mini with an 16340? Geez how long does that last? What three hours? Still, I would like to play with a mini for a day before I bought one. And for some reason all my mods are either chrome or highly polished aluminum. Why didn't they come out with a chrome one like the V1? Scuse my ramblin.

Pardon, 18350 or 18490 with an extra cap. But the cap would defeat the purpose of it bein' a "mini" wouldn't it? If they had a chrome one I'd buy it now. I already have all those batteries. I saw a few pictures here on ECF in some dudes hand and he either had huge hands or that thing is tiny. It even looked thinner although I know thats not possible.

Whoops 9 months with it !

Not a blip has it had, been playing with genisis atty's for over 6 months now and deals with them just as gracefully as anything else from carto tank to atty.

Why didn't they come out with a chrome one like the V1? Scuse my ramblin.

Provape discontinued manufacturing the chrome bodies; something about they were not pleased that the chrome bodies could not be manufactured to their standards of quality control. Not sure if they will ever be back again.

I read the notice on the Provape forum that the Chromes were going to be discontinued, so knowing that I would soon be getting a yet-to-be-released colored Provari, I bought a chrome extension cap before even buying my first Provari. Kind of glad I did that now, as the chrome extension cap is no longer available. I really love the look of the longer chrome cap on my blue Provari.

I'll have had the V1 one year as of Dec 12th. I've dropped it on concrete, knocked it off my desk, nightstand etc... I had my buddy (chrome shop) buff the dings and scratches out and the chrome still looks good (nice chrome job).

That sucks cause I think they did a fine job with that material. When I first started out I had all black stuff, black atties. cartos, bodyies.... but that stuff doesn't last long and shows scratches and nicks real easy.

So, do ya think my chrome V1 could command a better trade in value than a new V2? I don't think I'd sell it but damn there are some really nice mech mods bein produced.

I agree that the mini can be heavy but I will never go back to my ego twist. I have no other pv in the middle.
I'm scared to drop it. The mini has been lasting me 1 1/2 days on 1 battery with no extender cap
It is only 700mah battery but it is brand new so maybe that is why it lasts so long

Or folks local to me. I can't get more than 4 hours out of a 18350. Usually less. That is why I bought a little telescopic extender that gives you the option of using 18490's and 18650's.
