Hi
I have an evic battery and a kanger pro tank
I have updated the firmware to the latest
My problem is when useing the protank with the evic it wont let me turn it down anywhere under 5watts
I can go up but not down it does have a 1.8ohm head in there which is what the kanger come with
As soon as i take the kanger pro tank off i can turn it down but as soon as it detects it i cant.
If someone could help thanks

My sweetspot is at about 8.0 - 8.5 watts. Or just over 4 volts, depending on the PV. I think my eVic is set to like 8.1 watts, I don't have it with me, so can't be sure.

Why would you want to run it so low? If you are new to variable voltage/variable wattage then start low take a drag, the turn it up and take a drag and repeat until you find your sweet spot of vapor production and flavor :)

Depends on your juice and your personal preference. Delicate juices start to break down (burn) at 7 Watts, 8 Watts is pushing it. I know vapers who vape at 9 Watts and up. I usually start at 7 Watts and adjust up or down to suit taste. I used to vape at 8.5 Watts and was burning my juices and turning them a much darker color, than I started with. To each their own and YMMV. The eVic won't go below 3 volts or above 5 volts, below 3 Watts or above 15 Watts.

It's possible you're getting the "rule of 2" mixed up. Normally, you take the resistance of your head (1.8 ohms) and add 2 to determine your starting voltage (not wattage). In this case you would start out at approximately 3.8 volts and adjust up or down accordingly. As you're using the eVic in wattage mode, the device is going to adjust the voltage automatically, but you still need to start out at a high enough wattage to ensure the device fires properly with the tank you're using.
