I'm pretty new to vaping so maybe there's something I'm missing.

The first 3 ejuices I've tried were 50/50 vg/pg. I feel like that had little to no flavor.

I decided I wanted to go all VG as I didn't realize that pg had animal product.

Anyways I just ordered from Velvet cloud vapor as I've heard good things about them.

I got the peach tea, the white beard tobacco, and straub gaub or whatever it's called.

Is it me or do these have like no flavor at all.

I'm about to start making my own if these flavors keep Tasting like nothing. It's too expensive. I could easily make juices that taste better. Why don't they add more flavoring to the juices.

Maybe it's just me I don't know. The website had great reviews.

Thanks.

What voltage do you usually vape at? I notice my 100% VG juices need to be vaped at a higher voltage than my PG/VG juices to really get the flavor to come out.

Sounds like a steeping problem though. Even though you bought from a store you might still have to let the juices sit for 2 weeks. I buy Virgin Vapor from my local store and since Virgin Vapor makes the juice fresh for the order, when the store receives it, the juices aren't very old. I buy them, take them home, and let them sit for 2 weeks before they really get that great flavor. Prior to steeping, my 100% VG juices have a very light taste to them. Some of them I don't even like at all fresh from the store. Once I steep them though, the flavors just "pop".

IMO, there are a lot of really popular vendors that make really lightly flavored juices. I've tried high wattage, different tanks, dripping, etc, and still very little flavor. They smell great, but just don't do it for me. Many people call it "subtle", I call it a waste, lol.

You might have better luck with some other vendors like:

GLV (Good Life Vapor)
Ahlusion
Darkest Day Vapor
Halo
Indigo Vapor
Nicoticket

There are others, but those are some that definitely have more flavor than others I've tried.

Exactly. That has always been something I noticed. They ha en a great smell but no taste at all. Is the entice market a scam. Also do any of those vendors have 100% vg juice.

I'm not sure--I know some of them don't, and a couple have a "preferred ratio" that you can change, but it will affect the flavor. You'll just need to visit the websites and see.

If you don't have a true PG allergy and you can vape some PG, many people don't have problems with even up to a 50/50 ratio which is what I use. I find it to be the best in terms of good flavor and vapor.

If you absolutely NEED to have 100% VG, there are vendors out there that do good flavors. Nude Nicotine is one that I've heard is good, as well as Free State Vapor and Orb.

I don't think it's a scam--but I do think many people are used to light flavors. I myself need more than that so through trial and error I've found quite a few that really hit the spot. Good Luck!

If you're a new vaper then your tastebuds are still probably all mucked up. It can take a few months for them to come back. PG is what carries flavor so if you're going to go with 100% VG the flavor is going to be lighter. VG is sweeter than PG but is what creates the bulk of the vapor. The entire market isn't "a scam," it's most likely just your sense of taste or lack thereof.

New vapers almost always need a bit more flavor because your sense of taste is still repairing. But I will say that I still, more than 5 months after I bought them and vaping for almost a year, cannot vape my 100% VG juices, even dripping with a cotton wick--there is just no flavor there.

No matter what it is that's causing it, you'll want to find a couple or few vendors who really rock the flavor %. The list I gave is a good start, IMO.

Annie,

Did you let your juice age at all?

Maybe it is me. I never really had that great of a taste. I put ketchup on everything because it has no flavor to me otherwise.

No. It was great for me fresh. The only one I got that seemed bland was vanilla custard.

And if it helps you feel better--I put ketchup on everything too. I call ketchup 'Polish Gravy' cuz my whole family adds ketchup to everything :)

I lost all vapor flavor after a week of vaping. I was freaking out. A lot of posts I read said just keep vaping. It'll come back. I was trying every juice in town. Had no luck. One shop manager let me try his rda on a mech mod. I could taste that way better than my evod on an ego. I got a mod and igo w for 20 bucks and the rest is history. Protank was good for a while, but they mute the crap out of flavor now to me, anyways. Hope it works out for ya. You'll find your sweet spot.

I've never really understood VCV having no flavor to some people. Even when I first quit smoking and tried them (they were something like my 4th vendor), the flavors almost knocked me over because they were so strong. Peach Tea was a little light when I tried it, but the Beards all needed to steep a while for good flavor (they had a ton of flavor, it just needed to blend together), and the bakery flavors were so strong I had to let them steep to mellow out. Tastebuds are strange things.

If you've recently quit smoking, your tastebuds are probably still wonky. PG based e-liquids usually seem to have a stronger flavor, even fresh (not always) because it carries flavor better than VG. Steeping uually doesn't hurt any juice, though, so I would advise putting them away for a week or two and then trying them again. Also, staying hydrated seems to help with bringing flavor out. My husband isn't a vapor (he's a smoker), but he can usually taste my e-liquids with no problem, unless he's not hydrated enough.

Tastebuds do vary, even amongst veteren vapers, so what works for others might not work for you. If you really want to try all VG vendors, check out this post: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/fl-lori/3281-100-vg-vender-list-coupon-codes.html Good luck, and I hope you find something satisfying.

Vanilla Custard was, sadly, my first and last order from them. It had absolutely no taste when I got it, and I never got a response to my email asking if this was usual.

I think now it has steeped for a few months it likely has a little more flavor, but they lost my business over my only order.

i have a few Velvet Cloud's. The white beard was a free sample and it had flavor. The peach tea is too mild for me. The wild cherries is good but kind of mild also.

there's a lot of brands out there that are way too mild on flavor for my tastes.

Goodlife Vapor is always very flavorful for me, I'd highly recommend them for strength of flavor. they have 5 now that are 100% VG. The VG ones have to steep for a while for the flavor to develop. If you ask they will probably make anything you want in 100%VG

I've had good luck with most of Free State having a lot of flavor.
The Indigo I've tried had lots of flavor.
If you order from Ahlusion be sure to get 50/50 if you want flavor.
