I have 3mm ekowool in an aga-t. It simply will not wick. I add distilled water and the vapor tastes thin, I add any amount of pg and the vapor is too harsh. I loosen the coil diameter and the vapor tastes cooked to burnt, I tighten the coil and it hits fine for three tokes, then I have to drip. I tried SS rope, and that just tastes like burnt metal - thinking I might have oxidized it too much. Mesh was an even bigger disaster. Silica performs just like the ekowool, it simply will not wick. I make sure the air hole is clear. I drilled the wick hole and air hole wider. I'm happy to be rid of cartomizers which are a terrible excuse for an atomizer imo but it's a hassle to drip every three tokes - so what the hell is the deal?

Beginning to think this thing was made backwards; the tank should gravity feed down to the coil.

I have had a bad time trying to get ekowool to wick up. I had moderate success with a mesh wick and an ekowool sleeve on it. Also have one working moderately well 2mm ekowool with mesh around it in the tank but just the mesh just goes to the top of the tank and the coil just on the ekowool. The flavor works but a lot warmer than a bottom coil type.
