Need to know:
Which coil your using?
MTL or DL?
What is the PG/VG ratio?
There are several possible causes that may contribute to your problem. The above questions could narrow the answer(s) down, in the mean time you can read/watch:

Thats a pretty high amount of PG, it could be wicking too quickly because the juice is so thin. Cutting it with some VG, changing juices, or possibly upping the power are all things that could help. The airflow could also be a factor if its very closed/restricted.Would the above video instructions also work on an Smok X8 stick, can't seem to get it to stop gurgling and spitting juice in my mouth, Just purchased it yesterday. Took it back to the store I bought it from and they changed the coil but for some reason still does that. And the heat that comes through it when I draw is very hot even with the vents wide open. I am using a store juice 80pg/20vg with 3 nic. I am using the coil that came with the unit so I am not really sure about coil number.

I commonly have issues with flooding in one of my rta's when filling. Some of it is probably iffy wicking but ive found that when it does flood taking a couple of small puffs at 5 - 10 watts above my normal vaping power clears out the extra jucie and then it vapes great after that.
I am a newbie as you can tell. So if you don't mind could you tell me what a good ratio for the pg/vg would be. And thanks for responding.
Thats kind of a hard question to answer but judging by the tank that comes with that kit. Something between 60%-40% pg should be good.
At 80% VG its likely not an issue with wicking overly fast. What is the resistance of your coil/wattage setting you are using?I thought I might have the numbers backward so i called my store and its actually 80vg/20pg. It seems to work ok for my VOOPOO but I will look for a lower one for my Smok X8. Thanks again for the info

On a mod that isn't adjustable the only way to decrease the heat would be to get coils with higher resitance. With the Smok I was told that they are preset at 45w. Unfortunately the X8 can not be adjusted on that.

Anytime, vaping is an interesting thing. Some if it comes from trial and error. Hope my rambling nonsense ends up being helpful.Ok thank you will try that.
