I didn't like the fasttech ones non-genuine. The 1.2's they have are genuine though.
I agree. The bottom pin is different than the stock coils. It constricts way too much for a lousy vape and flooding, among other things (even with AFC wide open). I went through 5 in about 2 days and got fed up. Still have 4 packs in the cupboard. The hardware is good, but that bottom pin isn't interchangeable with the stock coils. The hole on the bottom pin is way too small also. I'm going to rebuild one this morning and see how it vapes with a single coil. Maybe it will be a little bit more airy since there will be more room in there for it to breathe.

Here's a couple pics of the differences in the stock and clone. Also, obviously the insulator is different too. It can be recoiled, but the pin and insulator aren't interchangeable with the stock. Clone is on the Right...

That shoots down the FT order! Thank you!
Maybe if my recoil works nice, there will be a change of heart. Not sure, but I'll give it a try. :)
If they do work nice, we'll just have to put them in a different area of the room, not to get them mixed up with the stocks.

I ran into another problem. The side slats in the cup are thinner. The 14 gauge luer lock needle doesn't fit either. I'm thinking maybe the 16 will work. I have to find all of the unused luer lock's that I bought now in order to finish recoiling this.

And more joy pours out of the clown car that is FT...

I recoiled one of the clones. Not highly recommended. I still have that major constriction that will most likely cause flooding. The flavor is fine. Parts are really shoddy. The top cap doesn't even fit snug. Just not good, in my humble opinion. If I was desperate, I would deal with it, but I have plenty of authentics to recoil. Authentic recoils Highly recommended!!

It is cooling off here and we don't get snow, so hell yeah! Get all those northern folks and bring 'em here!

It's probably cooler here. In the 40's today, but the only thing I cannot handle is the major moisture and it's here today. Can't get the edge off in my house. Rain's definitely on its way. Cold Rain!
