I just put my GS Air2 on my Provari 2.5 GMZ mini and it works just fine. The only real difference between a GS Air 2 and a GS Air M is the airflow control. The GS Air 2 comes with a silicone ring to put over the airflow control hole. There's nothing to turn like on the GS Air M. (I took my silicone ring off and use it fully open).
So the air flow in the Air 2 is about the same as the M with AFC wide open?

Ahh but the 14 mm GS Air 2 has an AFC ring on it.
I do not understand all the air flow confusion with the GS Air tanks

Thanks Jingles! I thought the white would look good on my Pearl White provari and the Rose Gold on my pink and white hybrid! Do they use a regular eleaf airtank coil?

Yes, they do! They do come with the new .75 Ohm one's though.

The M is the only other one with the adjustable airflow?
One of the originals, The GS Air Dual Coil Tank (w/adjustable air by a small screw), the MS, and the GS-Tank. There's one more original GS Air that is before my time, with the GS Air club.:)

The GS 16. Not near as good as the beloved GS Air. So the Air, Air M, Air MS & GS Tank all have built-in adjustable airflow.

I got my tanks. Nice work, smooth threads, wow the coils are tiny.
And the M, omg this is hard to fill. I have a kayfun lite that's way easier to fill. I will alter the tip of a bottle to make it easier.
Now, 2 questions.
First, do these tanks come apart? The M and the GS tank?

Second, this is my first time with temp. Be gentle with me, but what temp should I start? And what do you all usually set it to? I'm normally at 10 watts on kanthal 1.5 ohm, or 35 to 40 at 0.5 ohm on the sub stuff. I just need a good starting point.

(btw, I took the 4 temp coils from the GS tanks, replacing them with the regular 1.5 ohms for my friend. She will have more than enough to deal with starting out, such as learning this vaping thing. (the smoke stick, she calls it) Plus figuring out her nic level, plus air and watt control, there is no way I'd let her fuss with temp on top of all that!)

And again, I thank you for sharing your advice. These tanks are just what I was hoping to find for her.

nopie, the 'stock' tanks do not come apart (clones from FT do)

for TC - suggest to set Watts to 40w then Temp to 350° - just to start off (kinda a tootle setting, very cool vapor)
then of course start climbing till the temp, flavor, vapor you like comes into focus...

if ya wanna then, next step move watts Up or Down, then back to 350° and climb all over
you know the drill, kinda trial-n-error till you find your sweet spot...

I don't believe they were intended to come apart. I've had some of the seals weaken on me and I could pull them apart for cleaning and put them back together but that was over time. Eventually the seals would completely give and I would have to put it aside. Because I paid under $10.00, I feel like I get good value on these little guys as long as they last.

Just my personal opinion here; my first attempt at TC wasn't all that I had heard it to be. I was using the GS Tank with the NI coils (coils came with tank) on the iStick40w. I usually vape around 11 to 12 on 1.5 ohm and 20 to 25 on 0.50 and 350 f on TC was a weak draw for me. I like my vapor a tad warmer than cool and I would boost up to 500 f to get satisfaction. This would drain the battery pretty darn fast. Using a different MOD and your experience would probably vary and be better. I would start around 350 and work up from there but my experience is limited.

Let us know how you like it?

:)
