you will find the CLR's a breeze to work with and fall in love with them and live happily ever after and the rest of your tanks will go into storage and you'll say, "Fiddly dee! I love the EO CLR coils!" And you will hug them and squeeze them and call them George!

Still shopping. Thanks for all the leads.
I would prefer the 2.5 ml tanks in silver and to get the 1.0 ohm coils from the same place to hopefully save on shipping.
So far can't find what I want at one site and in stock.
Obviously this has become popular.

I have been lurking in here for quite a while, thanks everyone for all the tips and tricks. I finally had to come out of the woodwork and ask a question.

I have searched in this thread but haven't found anyone mention using a ego one base with a CLR head (modified), and topping it off with the top part of a GS air-M tank . The guy called it a 'frank'n tank', with the best features from both tanks. I came across it on an Aussie forum, has anyone tried something like that? I bookmarked the post, but I don't know if it's proper to try to link to another forum?

Ok, well, the guy said the CLR was too tall to fit into the GS air topper, so he left the cap off and put a protank silicone cap on instead. This was using the 1.8ml ego one, the little one.

If anyone wants the link I will pm it to you, there are pics, so you'll know it happened! :D I may try this myself, but I'd love an opinion from one of the master builders in here.

different cominations and came up with "well, not very good"

so if you're of a mind too, it's many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many pages back...

That sounds like it's buried pretty deep, not sure I want to get the backhoe out. So it's basically a no go on the frank'ntank, darn it! I'm glad I asked, thank you, you may have saved me from myself!
I can say with a smile that it is a no go. :)
