It's a lot easier than I thought. After looking at Cheechako's rebuild pictures, I decided to pull off the top of one of my old
coils and try to clean it and dry burn it. I was really surprised at how easy it is to get that pressed on piece off the coil. I did what Cheechako did - I screwed the coil into an old T3S base and then just gently twisted it with needle nose pliers. It came off easily. Once it's off, it looks really similar to old coils you can clean and dry burn. So I boiled it in the microwave for a few minutes, dry burned it, and now it's
vaping like new again.
The most difficult part (and it's not that difficult) is twisting that top off. But if you screw the coil into a base, it makes it a little easier to do.
