Kyi-I am right there with you. I have 3 IStick 20's and one 30W. I still use my older Vision Spinnet 2's, an MVP 2, a Vamo 5, and a Smoketech SID. Almost forgot about the Aspire CF Ohm Battery with the Atlantis. I have an Aerotank V2, Mega and a mini. I have 2 Nautilus minis and a full-size and now 3 GSAirs. I also have a Delta 23 and a Delta 16 tank.(Most of my tanks were purchased in 2014) I have probably placed at least 6 juice orders since Jan 1st. Right now I am trying to resist the ISTick 50W and the Ego One. vaping can easily become a hobby.

You guys are really making me feel much better about my spending habits. ;)

Ugh. Speaking of spending...
I just did a much needed reality check.
So far I've probably spent about 450-500 dollars on vaping.
I've only saved about 280 dollars by not buying cigarettes.

That number will flop around after you find something you are happy with and vape a while. Let's not look at cost again for 1 yr ;)

P.S. and don't forget to keep an eye on the ever increasing cost of the ole stinkies, and rework your calculations accordingly. :)

I try to be aware of what I spend on my vaping gear, mix my own juice, recoil and use my clearos for as long as possible.
But, here comes the but monkey, you cannot calculate how good it is to be off cigarettes and not smoking. I think the good
benefits outweigh the extra money spent. At least I tell myself that when I order more gear!
Also, I will donate some of the older gear I no longer use to those starting out.
Plus I like to tinker and this can become a consuming hobby!

I'm good with that plan, Mud. :)

As long as we're on the subject of spending $$.....I just pulled the trigger on two more GS Air tanks, another 10 pack of coils, and an Infinite Magma clone RDA from Sweet Vapes. About $55....so around what I'd spend in 7 days smoking. My wife really liked the GS Air tank, so I had to get her at least one , and another for us to put into rotation. I need to settle into a system for vaping. I'm really hoping that the drippers on the way will give me the nicotine blast I like at the end of the night when I smoked the heaviest.

I think you're doing pretty good then, I don't even have to check, I know I haven't saved any money yet, I do plan on it someday though.

I haven't actually saved anything. According to my banner, that's the money I've saved by not smoking, BUT I spent almost twice as much as I didn't spend. So, I'm actually 200-something buck in the hole.

What about your Lemo? No love?

Just for info -- Totally Wicked has re-branded and re-named plenty of gear with agreements with the other big names. It was pretty common with the larger on-line suppliers to do similar. With all the products we have now, I'm sure glad that has mostly gone out of fashion.

I'm pretty darn sure that the TW Air tank is the exact same tank, with a slightly different name.....as that is their pattern. Not like Slow Tech, where you still need Slow Tech 101 to figure out what is "real" and what is "knock off", though even they have vastly improved disclosure.

you're good! this is a great time to start vaping! awesome equipment and knowledge all around. you will save money... eventually.

I started vaping in 2011.. finally quit 2013.. you don't even wanna know the dollars spent/wasted.. when I quit for good, I started a "break even" spreadsheet- because we will always buy more stuffs, the date will keep moving.. after this last buying frenzy, my date went from August of last year to November 4th.

Thing about finding something you really like and sticking with it... I do have several setups that I could probably stick with for a long while without needing to upgrade. But it's pretty hard when new stuff is constantly coming out and people are raving about it and you start to wonder if it could be better and your curiosity starts to make your money burn a hole in your pocket. I definitely don't need 5 different mods (not including all the crap in my closet that I've retired) or 10 different tanks or enough juice to last me years even though I'll probably just never vape the stuff I don't like or use all the rebuilding material I got. But it's so much easier to just... take the plunge on vape stuff that you want than other things. I don't know why.

Does anyone use these coils in their Egrip? Just wondering if they were a lot better than the Joyetech CS coils. I use BVC coils in mine now but the last few heads were kinda blah and then all the ceramic wick/fiberglass talk got me a little concerned. I mean, I'll still use them until I get the GS Air coils but I just wanted to try something new.

I prefer them in my eGrips! the wicking material seems to be better/different. I noticed a huge improvement in flavor and vapor using the GS coils- save the little silicone ring from the tops of the CS coils and switch with the much thinner one on the GS.

Ugh... I picked up one of these GS Air tanks as well as a pack of coils after skimming through this thread. At the beginning of this year, I bought a second Joyetech Egrip, telling myself this is my LAST purchase for a while since I have way too much stuff and spent way too much money. Since then, I've purchased an iStick 30 watt, Joyetech Ego One, two large orders of juice, more coils, a Lemo Drop, a Kanger Subtank Nano, and now this GS tank and coils. I justify it with the fact the GS coils will also work in my Egrip. AHHH.... it'll never end. Vaping has been supremely more expensive than smoking for me.
In my case I have spent more on vape equipment and juice than I would have smoking, I think if I could stop buying for 2 weeks I would pull ahead... But the savings has come from not going into a store every day to buy a pack of cigarettes. I can't walk out of the store without at least $40 in "stuff" I didn't really need.

Hmm -- I can't walk into an on-line vape store (virtual walking), without getting at least something else I don't need in addition to the main interest item -- saves on shipping, you know. This philosphy has enabled me to have one heck of a drip tip and clearotank collection.

Yup. If you buy enough of anything the manufacturer will slap your logo (like that little devil :p) on the products you're purchasing whole sale from them. Many vendors do the same thing, not just TW.

I agree. The problem is not just that we want new toys, but that the new toys are really better than the old toys.

At least that's what I keep telling myself. ;)

It's a vicious cycle! Yes, new toys are always more fun and interesting and possibly better than old toys. Who doesn't want new toys even if you already have toys? That's just the thing... aaahhh this totally makes sense and makes it so much worse!

These are our toys or "hobby" if you wanna call it that.... but we call it our ticket to being healthier since we're vaping and not smoking, therefore these toys are totally justifiable and that is the truth! I think of new stuff I want everytime I get bored... even though I just got the GS tank and coils, I'm still looking at websites, seeing whats new and whats coming out, the forum sure as heck doesn't help with reducing spending, and you can never have enough juice... for the apocalypse you know! Gotta be stocked up... and drip tips too! :D

I use the GS air coils in my egrip. It's the reason I bought the gs air. I love them. Someone said the coils were exactly the same as the CS coils sold Gor the egrip, maybe they are and I'm crazy, but the egrip coils work better for me.
