Generally the istick threads strip, which is why so many people use an adapter and screw the tank into that. I have been using the Airs on eGo One batteries for a couple of months with no threading issues at all.

Ok. The Ego adapter that came with the iStick threads on perfectly so I guess it must be the GS Air threads.

Maybe I over tightened it..or had it threaded wrong and tightened. This happened within a few days--from wobble to not threading.

I guess for $10 I might as well just get a couple GS AIR Ms and toss the original one.

My tanks wobble a bit but still screw in securely...as IMRs said, the 30W has stainless steel threads.

Yeah, I think the iStick is fine. The EGO adapter threads on fine. I just don't want to order a new tank if this is a common issue but it appears it isn't

Any issues you know of with the GS AIR M?

I was using ego adapter after I got the the istick, but enough people on ECF had had problems way back when. So I picked up a bending adapter. I have 4 total GS Airs and M's. That's not your problem!

Ok...So you think the problem is the iStick 30w and NOT the GS Air?

The 510 to EGO adapter that came with it does thread on perfectly

I'm so sorry Bike...maybe you need to get some hair bands too. They have black ones, blue ones too. They really do help. I dropped one of mine in the bathroom at work and it didn't break. Not like that Air did...

No sé señor, y no me habla portuguez!
Hmmm... I think something is mis-threaded in the libretto. Is that an attempt at a reflexive verb form? Is the doncella really talking to herself? I must consult with the first book I ever read for answers to life's perpetual riddles.

First time I cracked a tank so I have a good record. :) You would think having the narrow slits it would be hard to break.
