Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

There is a big difference between NETs( naturally extracted tobaccos) and WTAs(whole tobacco alkaloids). WTAs contain the minor alkaloids that are naturally found in tobacco and seem to help some people get the satisfied feeling that they are not gettin from their eliquids. Extracted Tobacco "flavors" may contain tiny amounts of WTAs, but nothing near the amount to get the possible benefits of WTA or in any amount similar to the nicotine/WTA found in tobacco. Nicotine itself is also added to NET flavors to get the amount that most people use. I say don't vape WTA if you don't need it.:2c:

When I started DIY I ordered a few fruit flavors and 4 or 5 tobaccos. I opened the largest tobacco bottle first. It was from Flavour Art. All the rest from Flavor West. I have never even opened the smaller bottles from FW. The FA suited me so well I don't even want to try the FW. Is that crazy?

EDIT: All my fruits etc. are from FW and I like them a lot.
That's not crazy.....send me the other bottles

I never particularly thought TC was needed on the GS Airs. They really aren't prone to dry or burnt hits anyhow, and that's the big advantage of TC vaping.

This is what I Like and Don't like about when Someone wants to Bring Up something for Consideration.

What I like: Considering any Potential Hazards that may exist in using Ni-200?

What I Don't Like: Presenting Concepts with No Supporting Scientific Documentation.

Ron raises some Salient Points. Unfortunately, he does Not Support them with Any Quantitative Numbers. And there is a Fine line between Doing a Public Service Message and Spreading FUD.

The Detection of Metals in a Liquid is Not an overly hard Test to Do. If we want to Talk about the Potential of Nickel Leaching into an e-Liquid (which is a Very Relevant Topic), why Doesn't Ron or Anyone Else expose some e-Liquids of Various pH, Nicotine mg/ml and Flavorings to Ni-200 wire and then send the out for Testing?

I do Not Dispute the Possibility of Nickel leaching into an e-Liquid. But without seeing some Rudimentary Numbers of ug/ml or ppb, can a Meaningful Conclusion be made about Anything?

ZoiD...I agree completely with the thoughts you presented. And agree with your conclusion..."without seeing some Rudimentary Numbers of ug/ml or ppb, can a Meaningful Conclusion be made about Anything?"

But...since many here have posted that the TC Heads don't really add to the "GS Air Experience"...and since Ron is suggesting that nickel may leach into e-liquid...it was enough for me to remove the TC Heads from my cart at evape.us...and to stop being in such a rush to buy a TC40W iStick.

I still bought the TC40W iStick and right now I'm just using my regular GSA coils with it. I'm in no rush to try the TC coils, but I am curious.

I see Absolutely Nothing wrong with your choice to Not Use the Nickel TC Heads.

    I have a Similar Opinion.

I tried the TC Head that came with my GS-Tank. It worked OK. But the Organic Cotton Head that I used, and the One I rebuilt with NiChrome 80 worked Better. So why would I run Nickel Heads?

I got a TC Mod more to see what TC was All About. I didn't get it Because I really needed TC. Because I am a Lower Wattage/Temperature Vaper as compared to Many. And even in TC Mode, I had Better Results, and the Builds were MUCH Easier, when I used Titanium Grade 1 wire.

Buying an iStick TC40W was a going to happen for me. Because the Threads on 1 of my iStick 20's is about Gone. And the Threads on My other iStick 20 were Not far behind.

So getting TC with the iStick 40W was more of a Free Bonus. Because I really Bought it for its Size. And as a Replacement to something that I Already had.

Yep, even with TC completely out of the equation, the 40W TC is a solid VW mod. Works great with my Subtank Mini in TC mode, though.

    Damn Straight it is.

To me, the iStick TC40W is what the iStick 30W should have been (minus the TC of course).

A Great Sized Mod with Good 510 Threading. And something that a 22mm Atomizer sits flush to the sides on.

Zoidman, you piqued my interest about the Nichrome 80, I'll have to check that out. Ima goin to da bar and carryin dis lil booger wit me, see ifn I git any wise cracks.

If you haven't tried NiChrome 80, I would say give it a Shot.

Here is something I posted Awhile Back...

I resisted moving to RBA's for a Long Time. I was Perfectly Happy to use Clearos (XL CE2's). And I bought a Boat Load of them before they were Discontinued.

When I did get an RBA, a Kraken, I thought it was so Cool to make a coil and to put everything together. Then I took the first hit. Whoa... WTH? It was Very Harsh.

I tried Vaping thru it to see if it got better. Nope. Tried Countless Combination of Coil Ohms using the Spool of Kanthal A-1 wire I had. Nothing Worked. Changed e-Liquids. Bought Different RBA's. Drilled Out Air Holes - Covered Air Holes with Tape. Just about Wore Out the UP/Down on my APV's. Tried the Hot New wick at the Time - Cotton. All Epic Fails. So it All went back into the bottom Drawer in my desk. The Drawer for e-Cigarette stuff that Didn't Work.

Fast Forward to the Release of the Kanger Subtank. Everyone was Raving about it. This had to work. So I got a Subtank Mini. Same Song and Dance. Harsh Hits. What was going on?

I was about to Chuck the Subtank in the Drawer when something Dawned on me. Could it be the Kanthal? I remember seeing threads about NiChrome vs Kanthal, but I never read them. So I started searching and Reading.

Most people said there was No Difference between Kanthal and NiChrome. But a Few said that NiChrome was "Smoother". And I know that NiChrome was the 1st Type of wire used in Atty's, Cartos and later Clearos. What did I have to Loose? So I got a Spool of NiChrome 80.

Made a Coil. Popped it in the Subtank RBA. Dry Burned it. Stuffed it with Cotton. Saturated the Cotton. And filled up the Tank. After a Minute or so I took a Hit.

    Holy Flinkering Snit!

It Wasn't Harsh. It Wasn't Harsh at All. And the Flavor was Great. I Boosted the Watts and the Vapor was Massive. But the Flavor was still there. Turned the Watts Down. Outstanding Flavor, just less Vapor. I kept taking Hit After Hit After Hit waiting for it to get Harsh. But it Didn't.

I dug out My Kraken and Other RBA's and set them Up with NiChrome. The Weren't Harsh Either.

So what I'm trying to say by this Long (and Probably Boring) Post is If you are Not getting the hit you want on your RBA's/RBA's/RTA's using Kanthal A-1, and you have Tried Everything, try using NiChrome 80.

The Taste was/is Night and Day to Me.

So the Istick 40 with work with the Titanium Grade 1?

    It will.

But with Any TC Mod that Doesn't have a Ti setting, you need to Lower the Temperatures by about 100F that what you would use with a Nickel Build.

BTW - I have found that the iStick TC40W that I have like builds that are on the Lower end of the Ohm Range when I'm in TC Mode. I have also read Others who say the Same Thing.

The 1st Build I did for it was around .3 Ohms. And I had So-So Results. The Next build I did was at about .17 Ohms and the Results were Better.
