I have one of those tiny little eyeglass screwdrivers. That good for anything?
I have found they are great for warding off charging Rhino's and of course, tightening eyeglass screws...
Question: Has anyone had the following issues:
1- My Air tank always spits and pops at me. I have used a variety of wattages ranging from 8-13w with no difference and on different blends too. 50/50, 65/35 (high vg), 80/20 (high vg).
2 - I put a new coil into my tank and primed it. I am using a very clear juice. I didnt vape the entire tank last night and when I woke up, the color of the liquid had changed to brown/amber/caramel color. Is there something wrong with the coils? This happened with a previous coil as well.

1-My tanks emit a popping and sizzling sound, do you mean the juice actually pops up as far as the drip tip?
2-My juice darkens in these too, I assumed it was because of the heat generated within the tank causing this.
I use High VG myself.
I hope someone chimes in...

Did you clean the tank well before putting in the new coil and juice?

Ah yes, clear handled screwdrivers, those are the ones I use to pry, chip and abuse...disposable.

I bought a clear liquid a couple of weeks ago that does this. I think it has a lot of sweetener in it. I've diluted it some with VG (it had a lot of flavor), but it is still happening. I got 60 mls for $12, it's a local shop. It's an ok flavor, but it gunked up a fresh nautilus coil pretty fast, even though it starts off clear. That's part of my incentive to rebuild with the GSair, because I like it more than the nautilus.
I did not have this issue with A Quiet Morning for AiV in the GS air. I vaped that about a week on the same coil with no darkening, but then wanted to try my sample of Zombie Apocalypse. I used the same coil and all was fine. Since I figure the coil is probably on the tail end of its usefulness, I put in some of the local shop liquid last night. It's a very dark amber today, but the coil still seems ok. It's not getting wrecked from one tank like the nauti did.

That was Rachel, I think. Mine doesn't pop and spit. Am I doing something wrong?
It pops out the top and into my mouth. Its a small glob of juice that follows the popping sound.
To me the juice tastes different today than it did when I first put it in. Not as refined. I actually dont like it at all after it got dark.
This is a brand new tank that was cleaned and dried with hot water. I put it aside to dry and forgot a out it for a week. This also happens in the GS that I use quite often.

I think the sizzle is normal since thats the juice "boiling" and vaporizing. I dont think the spitting of juice is supposed to happen

I don't have a GS, but darkening juice is just stuff out of the atomizer -- wicks are not unidirectional. Try taking out a well-used coil unit and sit it on a paper towel, the stuff absorbed out is very dark.
This has always been my thought on it, there was a big debate a while ago on what caused juice
to darken. Between the heat and the .... wicking out of the coil...take a look at the coil I took apart on the blog, he's right, it goes both ways!
Somebody give that poster a sugar coated jelly bean! Yup it is the process of caramelzation (ok ok eye kant speel fur shat) and pretty much any sweet juice is subject to it, it forms on the coils during use and sorta/kinda mianders back tankward through your wicking material.
Probably not, the only tank/tanks I have that do that are kanger subtanks. I figured it was due to that massive hole in the top of the coil exposing a relatively large diameter coil and lots O air pulling thru and up out of it. But I could be wrong.
